Those numbers are staggering. I recently read that 150,000 elephants were killed since 2010 for their tusks. China is the biggest consumer of ivory and efforts to convince China to curb their appetite for ivory have not been effective. I didn't think there was even 150,000 elephants wandering Africa let alone enough to absorb that kind of slaughter and still remain viable. Sad. Remember the Buffalo herds? Will we ever learn?
Is 'unfiltered apple cider vinegar' alcohol? In the background is a pain cure I use after the ride ... It works well, has stood the test of time but watch out for the side-effects. I've tried it here during rides but it throws-off my coordination and I just get slower with no pain.
Unfiltered and unpasteurized apple cider I swear by. Apple Jack has the booze in it. Even better, LOL. I've turned people on to the apple cider vinegar with elbow pain and they literally hug me on the starting line the next time they see me. It's an age old remedy from the Civil War days supposedly, goes down like gasoline so hang on or mix it with OJ.
I am trying the vinegar for a few reasons: 1) Vinegar takes the calcium deposits off my van from any spray from my sprinklers. 2) Vinegar helps kill bacteria and clean out my water contaners that have algea in them. 3) A good all around cleaner. 4) If it's such a good cleaner, natural and safe.... Will do a great job cleaning out the deposits in my gut, plus a whole lot of other benefitial effects of the Unfiltered Apple Cider variety. I have been buying the bottles of Braggs Concord Grape Vinegar beverage. Not overly sweet (stevia) and no calories (not that that matters to me)... http://www.bragg.com/ Did the glucosamine and MSM (was told that instead of the chondroitin was better). Then I stopped, and then started again for awhile to test. Voodoo?. I take no vitamins and supplements now. Just eat good fresh food for those elements. Decided best was to cross train harder and be more discliplined what I ate with a ton of water. Have not felt better in many years. Repetitive stress is too common as we tend to all do the same activity over and over, especially when fun or an athlete. Found no matter what I did, after a few years I had a sport related overuse injury and had to take up something else and wear out another part.
