Happy B Day Bro. If WetDog was on here, I'm sure there would be a brown thing with a candle in it. Wonder what ever happen to him??
Yes, I am alive. Dog tired but alive. My life has been to freakin' busy. I think I've been on CafeHusky 3x since May for about 10 minutes total. I lost count of how many baseball games I coached since then but do know it was 23 games and 11 practices in July alone. A commitment that was extremely rewarding but I'll let someone else do the job next season. Add in my own kitchen reno where I took it back to the studs and I haven't had many moments to spare but, I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY Hope you had a good one. My day is tomorrow, September 10th. I'll be 44.
Happy birthday to both of you! The date must have been special as there was a big wedding at the hotel (on a Wednesday??) and I saw a different wedding party winding through the streets of SF on my way home from work. And I was wondering why it was so quiet and peaceful around here since May We missed you, WetDog BTW, I'm older than both of you so you have to do everything I say (I grew up with 4 older sisters and I heard that all my life!) WoodsChick
Got you on that one. 4 older sisters and 3 older brothers. I got pounded if I didn't do what they said. Happy b-day to the lot of you.
Thanks for the wishes. I usually nod my head in aggreement when given commands and then proceed to forget them entirely. My wife has gotten to the point that she asks me to assure understanding by repeating her words out loud but I still manage to head off in my own direction within minutes. A tad AADD I guess. Yep, washing dishes in the bathroom sink wears thin pretty fast but I found drinking out of someone else's dirting glass really isn't that bad. Thankfully the weather was outstanding making living outside easy.
Paper plates, plastic cups, and even disposable utensils worked for me. I hope you get the kitchen functional before the weather turns cold. It is getting close to mid-September.
The wife holds a high rank in the Eco-Police so plastic and disposable don't really come through our front door. We are very near completion and living in the kitchen again. Having the sink functional was a great day but the dishwasher install was the real celebration.
I know that the thread was originally Kelly's but I guess he wont mind sharing it with Wet Dog. Happy birthday you old dog.
congrats Kelly, 9/9/09 also is my 20th wedding anniversary ..... a miracle by today's short lived marriages..... T
