I've always wanted to try a Vemar for fit, but no one stocks them.
The Nexx(only have seen the DS model) is a very nice helmet, I've tried on the Touratech version, really lite. For a while you could buy the Nexx in Europe quite a bit cheaper than stateside, but now it has evened out some.

Sorry, that doesn't work for me. It's true we consume so much plastic junk now we have to get other countries to make it for us, but most of the motivations for big companies to produce in China/Asia are overpaid exec's and greedy shareholders. I'm not willing to pay top dollar for goods made by what basically amounts to slave labor.
So where are those Airoh helmets made? And Vemar? I appreciate your comments and look forward to how this works out.

    A short Robertaccio history/trivia read.
Airoh and VEMAR are both made in Italy (at least their top of the line helmets are).
But in looking I don't see the VEMAR VEX9 (1250grams) on their Italian website, I'm thinking its discontinued.
The Motonation boss (Bill B) is over there now and I'm sure he will have news from them (Vemar) concerning new developments.

Really want to try UFO. Arai is hands down my favorite but airohs sound real nice because they vent so well and are light. Bell seems like its a happy medium

Dont like the China thing throw you.... they are not the best innovators but they are great copiers..... most helmets nowadays are made in china....

Their not using "slave" labor.... thats almost funny..... TOTAL AUTOMATION.... it made most crap hole factories in the US to be just that...

Bell needs to step up and make a good light helmet for those of us that are neck challenged.....
