Call me crazy, but I like the dual exhaust look, and the quiet it brings. My stockers are here to stay.

I'll pay the shipping if someone in the USA want's to send my their stockers. [IMG]

Put my Leo single on today. XLEnduroman I will indeed call you or anyone else crazy that would want to keep the stock anchors on their 630 instead of the swapping them out. What a difference in weight between stock and the LV Ti! Sound levels are surprising pleasant as a bonus.

If you have the loot I would recommend the change!

I absolutely dig the duals with the Husky gunsight look and the sound level is a blessing. I am done with loud pipes. I have seen the youtube clips on the LV pipes for the 630's and they don't seem to loud, but I imagine louder then the stockers. I know the LV Ti single weighs 17 pounds less then the stock system. I can understand the weight savings as the 630 is a voluptuous girl. The weight doesn't bother me as I have my skinny Italian girl, my TE 510, for the other dates. [IMG]

Hey I have the same 510/ 630 combo NICE I have the twin arrows/ecu on my 630, they made a huge difference in power and weight and they sound awesome! very deep and throaty without being overly loud.

Think the trick (over here in Germany) is knowing how far you can go with the little men in green. The Arrows are listed as E3 compatible and have the E3 stamp on them as well. Don´t want to be strung up from the nearest tree. Think Husqvarna have done all they can to achieve optimal performance leaving owners with all the resources to go further as far as they want (and take the risk themselves). The local gestapo do give the bike some strange looks sometimes ... but that´s about all (it could be just admiration).

Hey - new TE 630 owner here (well in South Africa). I need an advice which is kind of off topic but not entirely I hope: I have ordered Arrows and one of the main resons was that it does not have cats (and was available while LV not) - I'm turning TE to DS and want to use it for trips to Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Angola, etc., and I need it to be able to run on leaded petrol.

However I have heard from guys on SA forum, that TE may have problem running on leaded petrol even without cats, as it has Titanium valve seats or some such (no idea what that is).

Do you guys have any idea if this is valid concern - or alternativelly do you run leaded petrol (even on TE610) and have any problem with that?

    Thanks a lot

Always accepted that lead made it easier on the bike by lubricating the valves. All the eco based measures to eliminate lead in the fuel and adding bio ethanol wreak havoc with the engine.

I like the Leo--But my 610te has the Arrows pipe on and 02 kit --have just ordered a 630SM with the twin Arrows as well and ECU complete. What i like about the Arrows is the Mounting points ( 2)--seen a couple of KTm's here in SA with Leo's on and Akrapovics --that Carbon band hanger on the slip on has been known to break off on a few of them -- just my opinion --but hell it looks good [IMG]

I don't know for sure but I don't think the 630 has ti valve seats (never heard of that ) or ti valves . The smaller te's(250-510) have ti valves but they rev alot higher. Once again I don't know for sure and don't want you to damage your bike because of my poor advice , but lead in the gas always provided a cushion for the valve seats in older cars.Would have to install hardened valve seats to run unleaded in a motor designed for leaded gas. there wasn't a problem the other way around.

By the way the twin arrows sound incredible and the bike runs great with the ecu.

I think if that ever happened to me, I'd just get a metal hanger.

Is that carbon fiber heat sheild by LV or is it a husky part or what? Looks great and Ive been considering an LV single pipe.

This is the new shield by LV for the 630. The carbon shield that comes on the 610 pipe is shorter and does not cover the pipe all the way to the can, that's why everyone burns their shoes. The new 630 shield is way better, unfortunately they are not interchangable.

This is fantastic! I have the SM630 and did the exact same pipe. It really is an awesome pipe. I've been trying to figure out what other 630's are doing for power. I just posted a review on my 630 and have only been able to squeeze 41HP out of it. VERY interested in what your dyno numbers were.

Does that carbon shield come with the pipe or is it sold separately?

    Thanks

Inquiring minds want to know.... Is the Trick Carbon Fiber Heat shield included with the pipe or is it an extra?

The twin Arrow slip-ons and the carbon heat shield items for the 630 are separate items and are listed in the "extra" parts list on the Husky web site.

The carbon shield is by Leo and it comes with the pipe. It's the best one i've seen and it provides 100% protection.

I love the look of the Leo Vince system. I went with Bill's FMF slipon for now, to save a boatload of cash. My next exhaust will be the Leo, for sure.
