Not a Honda fan, but a ktm 105 would probably do the job better than anything. They're closer to a full size bike in build than any of the other small bikes, but around here they're very expensive.
They are expensive everywhere my friend. Those three letter Austrian brands get the bucks KTM and BMW = big money more!
"The Hells-gate Xtreme Enduro, is now in the history books, and rated as the toughest yet, with rain and snow causing a ton of retirements, including multi-time winner Graham Jarvis. - It was KTM’s Jonny Walker, who took the win for the first time, a brilliant performance, - but perhaps the most astounding achievement, was that of Ben Hemingway, on the brand new Beta 300 XTrainer - he struggled as did the whole entry, but to grab 8th place on a new bike in one of the most grueling events on the planet, has got the whole Off Road crowd talking. -Well done Ben, and Well done Beta."
Xtrainer makes me think of cross training, which to me means the application of trials techniques to a dirt bike in an off-road forum.
Oil injection 2t that's what I'm talking about. Now before changing it over to 2t mix just incase your thinking about it. The older injected 2t bikes had washer shields on the crank bearings to hold the oil in the bearing like a bath tub. To change it over to a gas mix these shields must be removed if it has them on the crank bearings. Oil injection will allow the engine to last longer. I like it. Nice 2t street cruiser.
That's what I'm talking about an awesome DS ride. Listening to the popcorn popping in the pipe is awesome while cruising.
Remember not too long ago I wished for a new oil injected two stroke modern bike. This could be the start of a new craze between the European manufacturers? My second wish was a 500cc 2t e start? Oil injected?++++++ My third wish is the return of the twin rear olin shocks? A 500cc, 2t, oil injected, e start, lights, Speedo, with twin olin rear shocks? Wow that's my dream bike. Think about a super motard for the motard guys. Go all the way or forget about it. Don't tease me go big of go home.
I put the old pre mix in my tractors and my '55 willy's jeep snow plow. The old gal likes the shot of 2t mix. She's punch drunk like with 151rum. It keeps the old gals valves and juices a flowing. But seriously no more pre mix. With the mix and the new gas it lasts for 30 days. The Japanese bikes had it with the early 2t dual sports like the Suzuki ts series. They were a very dependable bike.
