According to Ty Davis, the current FE501 is a magnificent motorcycle. I hold it in high regards as well. I love my 511, but the 501 is really nice with 60hp out of the crate and wide ratio gears.

Stop it already! I can't afford another bike, well I can but I can't afford another long drawn out battle with the wife! I sat on one at my local dealer and it looks appealing for sure. 60 hp sounds like a trip to the ER for my soft skills.

Yep, I've read the reviews  and had a ride of the FE501 Bergs my buddies ride.
They are certainly nice bikes, but I think I'll wait for the bike that has more Husky input.
My TE449 should be just about properly flogged out by then!

Lol reville - well I can but I can't afford another long drawn out battle with the wife

Was wondering, did Blake figure out what happened to his CR? Just curious and hoping that it was not a tranny problem.

I've owned a burg, currently own red and white huskys and have ridden tons of others including a 300 beta. We just had a local dealer pick up Beta and has pre orders already. The beta is light feeling, snappy and quickand more agile feeling than about any other brand I've ridden. With that said I think Beta will gain in popularity in the future due to some people not wanting a KTM. Just my thought. I'm probably gonna end up with one or two in the future.

Just bought a 14 TE300. Stock jetting as said before was ok. 4CS forks are awesome BTW. One thing I tell my buddy with his TXC310 is to be in neutral as often as you can to start the bike. Seems like much less wear and tear on the starter. I do the same with my 449 and never an issue. All you guys loving the Beta for the seat height..I disliked That part of the beta. I had a 10 gas gas ec 300 and fought the cramped ergos for a while. I'm 6ft3. I sold that Ike right after I bought my 12 wr300. That bike was way taller and much better for a tall guy. I wanted a beta at first, I really did. It just felt to similar size wise to my 10 GG300. That and the ground clearance on the new TE300 is an inch more then the beta. I know the owner of our husky dealer very well so I took a chance on a new TE. Don't take this post as me knocking the Beta. I told a shorter friend of mine today to ditch his CRF250 and buy a new beta 250rr. It's nice to.have an alternative for someone who can't tolerate a taller bike.

I thought the Beta 450 rr was gonna be an issue for me as I'm 6'2" . Guts tall seat , factory spacers for the risers ( all of them ) and a pro taper KX high bend and to my surprise it fits well . The beauty is the center of gravity is so low compared to the 13 te 310 I had that it makes it so much easier to ride and feels way more stable .

I'm 5'11 but did a taller seat and factory spacers also.. Got used to the larger Ergos on the Huskys and had to make the Beta a little more roomy :)

The Beta fits better than my last two bikes. Only change I made was putting some Pro taper KX Highs on it. Awesome bike so far.
