I grind the end of a 6 point socket so that there is absolutely no bevel. Helps it fit tight. Did the same for my 22mm oil socket.

Yeah, same here. Even on the first oil change, all I found was a spec or two of break in wear. after that, they've all been clean as a whistle.

The torque specs on those are 7.38 ft/lb, which is 87.6 in/lb. That's just about finger tight.

Where are people buying their oil screen bolts? looks like 7602 doesn't sell them anymore? Also does anyone know the size of these bolts?

Not sure, I got my replacements from my husky dealer about 3 years ago. Although I did have to wait about 3 weeks for them to come in. In the mean time, I had my buddy who is a machinist make one for me. I'll try to dig up one of my extra plugs and see if I can match it up with a thread pitch for you.

I got my bolts at 7602 but for any red Husky parts I've wanted for either my '08 TE 250 or '13 TE 449, I've always gotten what I wanted from jetworld powersports. ('09 coil, '13 TE 449 header, air box cover, screws, plastics... you name it)

Late to the party here, been a little while since I checked in, but the easiest place to get drain plugs and the filter cover is a BMW motor cycle dealer.
    Same parts as the G450X.
