    You may be correct. I don't remember having a vent on any of my jap bike ignition covers though. Maybe I just didnt notice them?

    First ride today.......All I can say is WOW! This is the best trail bike I've ever ridden! I can't believe how good it lugs then gets on the pipe so smooth!
