take out the 3 screws on the cover

unscrew the 2 screws holding the valve stem HTS

Now loosen the 3 screws from the water pump cover d'

The rotor I dropped by hand without making any effort

Do you mean you can rotate the water pump impeller freely by hand?

If that is the case something is not right there. The impeller cannot be rotate freely unless you crank the motor (via kick starter).

agreed, pulling at those springs with pliers will result in you being flung backwards when they slip off

oh this might be useful my gear selector is I believe worn out, the teeth on the end never hold the levers I out on, no matter how much loctite I use or how tight the bolt is. Do you have the split the cases to put a new shaft in?

Now take off the engine cover There are 5 screws

unscrew the screws on the clutch, drop a little at a time each bolt always in the cross direction
