I wonder why he doesn't have his own bark busters on there.

This might be wishful thinking, but my old '82 430xc has been missing from his upstairs museum for quite a while now.... could it be??????

That was my TE511 test bike. Malcolm told me the torque limiter blew up, grenaded the entire motor. Glad it wasn't in my hands when it happened.

we need a word with those engineers, tork limiter schmork limiter,,,,we need max torque at all times. no limits baby !!!
What we (husky freaks, yes freaks of nature) really need is a scaled up X-lite type 400-500cc motor in a X-Lite type engineered chassis.
And an all new bunch of 2 strokes as well.

Buddy Adam has a sweet 2011 TE310 powered up with JD tuner, it is a real nice bike. Every time we switch (my TE511) he gets off shaking his head how good the 511 is and says, if they downsized that a little and made a 350 out of that platform I'd sell my 310 and get one. To each his own but I love the 449/511 package thank you very much.

As for the bike blowing up I can provide countless stories of any brand i have seen blow up. How about the brand new 450 KTM with the bad from the factory o-ring (which is an issue with many of them and a factory recall) in the case halves which caused low oil pressure and 6 months to get a new engine for? Then we can talking about the countless CRFs everyone was blowing up while Honda said there is no issues. The joke was the CRFs come with a case of vales too. Whatever.

Put a 6 speed in the existing 250/300 2Ts and I bet they would sell a bunch.

The front forks are off a "new" Husky. Charles Jirsa told me that the triple clamps, stem and bearing are a direct bolt on. The complete front end was used forks, brakes, wheel and clamps no mods required. Pretty sure the bike is a 1983 400 WR, best motor ever.:D
