I saw those and they look nice, one with and one without a back protector, but not removable. I would expect Atlas to make good quality gear, so how is it?

I got the one with the back protection. The only reason I got it was to fit my Atlas neck brace. it does that perfectly. Seems like it has a bit more protection than the Fox Pro Frame that I was using before. The quality is real good.

Wish it had rib & shoulder protection.

I wonder why Atlas doesn't make a full protector with shoulders and elbows? Good to know the quality is up there, thanks.

What I need most for the riding I'm doing lately, besides a helmet and boots, is knee, shoulder and elbow protection. Like I said, I started worrying about puncture protection too.
Over a year ago I got Fly Barricade body armor on sale someplace with no great expectations and the intention of removing the chest and back guards. So that's what I'm still wearing and I've had absolutely no problems with it, zippers, velcro, stitching, not even any tears or snags. I've been riding 3-5 times a week lately, 2-3 hours at a time around my place and up into the thick forest, still no issues. Whatever the base material is it's tough, also clammy and sticky and difficult to get off after a ride. The pads are bulky, I look like a skinny hocky player with it on, been down many, many times and no injuries. Something similar might work for you. It's even tolerable in the current 90 degree, 90% humidity. I've been wearing an XL thick, cotton t-shirt over it and don't notice it at all until I stop or crash.

I run a Fox with my Atlas Air attached. Orings zip tied to the shoulder cups pull the brace down by the strap clips. It fits in the neck opening of the Fox great and feels perfect, better than the Leatt Fusion by far. Atlas Air is a very nice brace, especially if you have a plated clavicle.

I like the shoulders on the Fox CPs. Thanks for posting

Dang! They ran small anyway. At the time by their size chart I ordered a large, had to return it for an extra large.
