Nice bike and continue to ride safe Coffee ... One clue on a helmet cam ... Video files take up quite a bit of disk space ... You can chew up 1/2 terabyte of space before you know it ...
OK, I ordered one of these instead of a go-pro. As soon as the memory card gets here I can try it out I choose hi-viz yellow so I can more easily find it - if it becomes unattached. http://www.liquidimageco.com/products/model-727-the-ego-1
You need to bring the Terra to the Black Dog for a few days at Hood River June 8-9. We had a great Husky turnout last year. http://www.blackdogdualsport.com/
I got one of those in red for my cousin for Christmas. There should be a lot of footage on YouTube this summer of me riding past him on his TE511!. He just can't keep up with the little TE250 in the tight woods.
Looks cool Coffee. Little booger too! The one thing I hate about my GoPro is how it sticks out like a sore thumb. Interested to see some videos!
NEW BIKE PORN! (wheres the dirty pics???) good idear on the yellow bits too....i shud paint my body parts that color...make em easier to find after flying off-trail and into the weeeeeeeds! enjoy boss-man. you totally deserve it!
C'mon Coffee make with the videos and bike/ride reports. We can't all rely on Woodschick for our info and entertainment. We would appreciate your views of the new beast.
stop with all the hi-roller partys at the moto-pad coffee-dood! your endearing public wana see sum shots of that dirty girly... brraaap!
I am trying to get a professional rider to take a action video - I am a terrible rider and it would be quite boring with me on it.
Dang, I missed this thread altoghther until now. *bonk* So did you get your Terra before WC? But after MZ? Excellent choice! It is much better having a plated dirt bike and also a true dual sport. We like our combo's. I know you will love yours.
who cares- yer a good cook! i suffer from that malady more than most nowadays...so i park and take shots w/ the scoot in the foreground! lol. either way- enjoy it to the fullest kind sir. it's a sweet ride for sure and you above all are more than deserving of same.
WoodsChick et al, and I met at MotoXotica one evening. There were test rides, etc. She rode hers home - in the dark, wind, and (probably) rain (she is tough!). For various reasons having to do with insurance, etc, I came back a day or 2 later and picked mine up, and rode it home - it was a warm and sunny afternoon
Ok, here is a test video, I was testing various mounts in simple terrain. The camera was upside down, and I flipped it vertically and horizontally, then youtube offered to fix the jumpiness/shaking. Here is what I have called "Lame riding video" View: http://youtu.be/4Rv5Vvx4u6M
Yes. At least for that short video - and it obviously did not work that well, it was bouncing all over the place. I am trying all sorts of mounting methods. Center of the handlebars seems to work best for road riding, and probably helmet might best for off road. I like to experiment.
Try the beak/mouthgard...gets the eyeball view without the risk of ripping it off the top/side of your helmet.
