Yep, too f'ing bad ... Recovery should be 100% but not sure how long it will take ... Maybe he can be a big presence in the outdoors this yr...

I bet he puts someone on his bike to finish the season but who could that be? .. If he lets WP40 ride it, well, he'll be the Man-of-the-Year in the SX world and just maybe deserve it also.

If you read the comments at the bottom of that article, you'll see Reed not only has alot of fans but alot of good sounding fans also ....

3 broken bones - Scapula , collarbone and T1?

Reed is one tough Mother Trucker (note to CH moderators I said "Mother Trucker" and not the other one).

Yeah I heard that, but that's just the Demerol and Percocett talking! "PUT ME IN, COACH!"
He'll wise up in a few days when they stop giving him the good stuff!

Best wishes to his recovery, I was really pulling for him this year. Brutal crash.

that guy's type is full on A++++......in the racing world, there are the cream at the top guys that will go way beyond the reasonable to ride.
I have a feeling he will line up to try to keep points on his tab. He is now in my opinion as "nutty" as all the greats of motorsport, Mann racing with broken leg after cutting off his cast, Lauda severely burned back in the saddle within weeks, All the greats in MotoGP racing with injuries that would mean weeks and months of rest or worse for normal folks, Doohan comes to mind, I have many more examples as a fan of motorsport but those are just what popped.
I think that nutty/smart/strong/wiley/etc Aussie will at the least try to qual for the next main to book points.......

Villipoto is the given, Roczen is fast, can he go the distance? Dungey is too far back because of his crash out, I'm putting my money on Stewart to keep up what he is doing and put enough pressure on that RV starts making the mistakes that he makes when someone can match him.

I think his comment crossed from "Dungey" to "in general", I can see how it could imply dislike for Dungey but I don't think that's the case.

I'm a HUGE Chad Reed fan, since he matured and came down to earth a few years back. However, I'm really surprised that he got on the bike. With his age, maturity, and experience with injuries, I think it was very poor judgement and likely caused more damage. Best wishes to his recovery and comeback.

K-Roc could be a spoiler (He and Villapoto have the same trainer) and is only 12 points of off the pace. Seem like a lot? Maybe, but it's a long season.

Dungey could roger up and Stew is not far off the pace w/130 points.

I don't see guys giving Villapoto a lot of elbow room this season. Look at A1. Allessi stuck it Villapoto on the 2nd to last turn. Plus, K-Roc's traiing w/Villapoto has worked ou in K-Roc's favor.

So it looks like dean Wilson is gonna ride chads bike for a while now that chad is out. Another possible player in the 450 class is cool with me.

Wowo ...That's pretty cool ... yep, Dean has got potential to say the least...

I certainly wish him good lucky and CR22 on this new position of race team owner without the added pressure of riding the bike... Something like this can maybe push Reed to grow his team ... There comes a time when we all say, I'm tired of making comebacks and its always cool to watch your bike(s) raced ....
