    Cool news.

    - they should just move Adam right to the 450 class :)

I was thinking the same thing. Hasn't dean already run a 450 before? He seems way more out of shape then the other guys. They're on the podium and can speak and he's still really out of breath. Seems a 450 would wear you out even quicker out there.

Speaking of The green bikes. When is Weimer going to go away? He doesn't perform and whines a lot. One of the shows like man vs moto he was on there complaining about how he's second rate on the team with Villapoto and blah blah blah. It's one of just a few teams left, what is there to complain about? Then you have guys like Peick who should have had a contract long before him.

Again, Peick is the man. Keeps getting passed over for this guy or that guy - for whatever reason.

There is a thread here somewhere that addresses WP40 position ... Might just be more PR BS ... Or it might be something to it ... Can't remember what thread has that link ...

    Many. Too many.
Peick gets results. Teams overlook Barcia's BS riding moves and whining, put up with Pourcel, put up with Jlaw, put up with weimer's big fades and lack of results, etc. There are more examples but these pop to mind.....I don't get the WP40 thing. Seems the fans like him so I don't get it. He gets results on a privateer effort, give him a ride.

    Jlaw is back!

Before you lay anyone off, you should consider who the replacement is ... Or just eliminate the position? Or maybe hire yourself? There is really only a handful of riders who can ride at this level across the country for a single race. Good or bad, every name you listed above has a track record, name-brand recognition and some sort of fan base. That's why they like to keep a specific number thu the years ... Alot like the name "Husqvarna" has name-brand value.

I gotta guess CR22 bike is provided for him but not sure ... If he owns the team but not all cards of the team, it may be out of his hands to select a replacement rider. Might be a coincidence, but it is a Kawi rider being replaced by a Kawi rider ... Wilson comes with his own built in fan base and a couple yrs(?) track record also ...

Pieck has a contract, people that support him, he has said he will not drop them.

There is a lot more to it than just giving him a bike to ride.

Yep this is a business ... So yes, even if Reed wanted him and and has 100% say in the new rider, WP40 still has business on his side that needs to fit into whatever Reed has to offer..

I'd guess nothing says that whoever picked WP40 up, has to drop WP40s' current sponsors ... But that's probably where it gets a little interesting with all the sponsors meshing and whatever deals have been cut there... And this announcement took ~10 days from the crash date? Might have taken all that time to figure out all the details.

Right, he and his Pops did say they'll stick w/Motosport this season as Motosport has stuck with them.

I finally watched the Dallas 450 Main last night. WP40 was doing really well but went down. But, got back up and started making his way back through traffic....then landed on Nicholletti.
