    well you stirred my curiosity,
the CR ignition is the same on 250 and 360, but there is a different everything on the WR 360 vs 250 ignition, early bikes shared a lot of models and only one ignition, is it possible we are being hoodwinked
what exactly is the part they call "electronic device" I mean who on earth named it that, did they run out of ideas at that point
so you are at the factory listening in and they are writing the parts manual, one of the last items before lunch was naming the ignition control or miss lunch

really the wr 250 1999 and my 2002 360 are identical ignition components, measure the same and mount in the same place. i like the common sharing of parts that is if they are good parts.

so 2 premo do you have a cr ignition you can put on your 360 or are we outta luck?
also did you purchase a lectron for the 360? i still got jetting issues

the 99 and 2002 360 WR have the same part number but the CR has a different number, it looks like a different control in the picture so not sure if the actual magneto is the same, but if you bought all the parts they should with a little mounting work fit any 250 or 360

I bought a stock WR ignition for mine as a spare, used it due to hot starting problems on my 99, this brings up the idea of a CR ignition as they seem to (according to what I read here at Café Husky) work better for performance, I will probably look for a CR ignition but not a priority item at the moment

I did not get a Lectron yet, a buddy mounted his when I was having starting issues, funny but it did not impress me enough to buy one, I suppose they have some advantages but they were not apparent during my trials of that period, by the way the bike ran fine just hard to start, if you could stand up and get a good kick it was fine, I mean if it would not start and I could roll I would, then stand on the peg get a solid boot and off we go

on the OEM carbs my 93 has less jetting issues than my 99 Mikuni as in it seems less sensitive to altitude and temperature if that's possible
