I'd be interested in a set of the shroud adapters if you ever make extras and the price is right.

that's been a question in my mind (I figured they would have the same mount points) so the chassis are the same even the mount points, makes big time manufacturing sense.

When kids build bikes. Sometimes they are bad ass!

When dad's build bikes, then they are Dad Ass!

Only thing left is the hand guards on order.

The bike looks awesome Darty, thanks for posting the photos of your undercarriage system. I do have a question about the rear left and right panels. Normally the front of those panels bolt to a tab on the back of the stock tank shrouds. What are you bolting them to in your mod? That's the one thing I can't tell from your pics.

    Cheers

    Thanx!

Just used a U channel piece of aluminum channel. One side drilled to attach to your upper subframe.
Then other side I marked and drilled to use a metric auto body U clip with 5mm threads.

You will want that Aluminum U channel just wide enough to pull the front of your side plate in against the frame. I trimmed mine out to fit round frame tubing. This way your riding pants or boots don't catch on it.
I leaving for Vegas but can post pick later in week.

I've run the bike and really like it. I like the front fender over the old one for some reason. I've had no issues with any bolts coming loose or no cooling issues. I am just running engine ice for testing then will switch to Zip Ty XF coolant.

There are two things I did to this bike that I really like. I took a lot of riders suggestions on the 216 Golden AA tire.
I also, am a big fan of the old rear Trelleborg Ten Master, which is now a Mitas tire XT 754.
So far, I like the tire combo front and rear. Front is holding it's bite on wet grass, logs, mud, roots and hard pack. The rear just bites like heck, digs a heck of a berm and you do not want to ride behind me. That tire throws stuff like a sling shot at rider behind.
