What a difference a good dealer makes. 1 email to Eurosport Asheville and they were golden! First the owner emailed saying he'd look into it...then the parts Mgr mailed saying it was ordered...ONE DAY LATER..the email read "your tool kit is here" now. I've bought many a motorcycle and the experience there was as good as I've ever had. They are a BMW dealer too...but I didn't feel like I was buying the "pinto". I don't think the treatment would have been better if I'd bought a 2013 GS LC. point I am trying to make is the margin is low on these Huskys...and unlike most BMW buyers many H Buyers never go into a dealer unless absolutely necessary. Justin @ Eurosport Asheville runs a tight ship!
Oh...that thing. Really haven't put much thought into it yet...Just found it in the Husky box with the manual tool kit and spare key etc. (Might not even be from my bike. It could have just got thrown in there when it got PDI'd.) Does anyone else recognize it.
Sorta reminds me of Andrew in the Straight Talk android phone commercial. Code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33BKQQuZRbM
Guys, My fait in my sales guy has been somewhat renewed, I got a response from him of an e-mail I sent out re the tool kit, apparently there is action from Husky N.A. I tried to copy and save it and I'll attach it on this response for everyone. If you didn't get one and want what is yours hewre is the scoop{I hope} Dear Husqvarna Dealer, During a quality check, we have verified that in first shipment of the 2013 TR650, the tool kit box is missing. If you have any TR650 models in stock that are missing the tool kit, please order tool kit (8000H5325) and request reimbursement using special warranty claim (GS – 2763). Best regards, HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES N.A. After Sales Dept. Rod
I got the kit, you do need the C spanner as none of the others I have work, but really pissed that I got no red leggo, legal action pending.By the way, never put your'e washed foam air filters in your girlfreind's new washing machine to spin dry, as it will destroy all the brownie points you have painfully accumulated as well as any you may be entitled to in the foreseeable future, consider this as a severe warning.
I hope they stay a Husky dealer. I went just for a first time visit in December after buying my 08 TE610 and I was treated as if I bought the bike there.
I got the tool kit when i purchased my bike, found it sitting under the seat. That being said, using it to perform maintenance on my sons pedal bike may break it!! So you guys arn't missing much. Although when i mentioned this phantom usb stick some of you guys received i got the deer in a head light look.
Guys, Well I finally got mine...as per the picture that was posted....spanner, plug wrench and the two sided screw driver....also the torqs tools ....I hope it does not take this long for ordinary items...oh well think I'll go for a ride....
I've requested a tool kit several times from my dealer, but dead silence. I don't think they are interested in helping with this at all.
Where are you guys finding the tool kit? I am assuming mine didn't come with it. Though I some how walked away with two of the USB dongles
Many, many, many bikes did not come with the tool kit. It IS supposed to, though. Your dealer can make a warranty claim to get you one. There is supposedly a memo from Husky about it or something. I got mine from Bill's Motorcycle Plus, who also knew the specific procedure and memo reference for the claim.
So no luck from the dealer after they searched around and said I should contact Husqvarna directly. I emailed them the reply RockinRod received and will see where that leads.
