On a positive note, I got my son the new TC250 and he loves it.

Congratulations John, I would be interested in hearing the difference between the 505, 125 compared to your TC. The motor is so tiny it is a work of art. Also how is he doing starting it?

We have over thirty starts between the dealer, me, and my son, all were first start kicks but the inital 3 kicker the dealer said, and one other 2 kicker hot. I will be sure to post up his and my riding impression.

raisrx251 the TC is WAY easier to ride fast than either my 08CR125 or my sons 08 KTM SX505 with Ohlins suspension. It is also faster by timed laps than either bike at least in our hands. More speed and less work very smooth bike.

    TXC or WR

    Motorsportz,

If you had to have only one bike, would you choose the your TXC or WR? I like my 125 WR specially since I got most everything sorted out, but I still wouldn't say I loved it.

Bob you didn't ask me but my .02 is until today I wouldn't trade my 08 CR125 for any other bike. But now if anybody was dumb enough to trade me their 2010 TC250 for my Cr125 I wouldn't hesitate for a mil-second. I am thinking the TXC is going to be the same with an e-start button and FI.

Full report coming soon but the 2010 TXC250 is an amazing bike.

As for the 125 question i do LOVE that little bike. It is not for everyone, takes a different riding technique and demands things from the pilot but the fun factor is so high on that one and that's why I ride (for fun). Now that I have some miles on the new TXC I have to agree with John, amazingly EZ to go very fast on. Transforms your thoughts into forward motion. Feels almost as light as the 125 but has a much more forgiving motor and lot more overall power.

Hey Bob my 08Cr125 will have the EG144 kit installed this winter along with a suspension re-do then I 'll have something to talk about. It's still my favorite bike and I mean "my" as my son's TC took the honors as favorite bike.

I just read the highlights from Dirt Bike's review. They really go out of their way to say the bike is not fast. I find that hard to believe. The outgoing bike isn't slow so how can the new one be? Oh well, bad press for Husky.

They are full of it the bike is Fast. It doesn't have a big hit but it pulls like a much bogger bike from just off idle to the next shift point, smooth quick reving strong power. When I road my son's it was hooking so hard on the MX track I was power wheeling down the straights and really had to watch myself from over-jumping the jumps and I'am NO PRO. They are full of POO!
