New guy here, I've been too busy ripping around Huntington Beach with a shit eating grin to post up. $5,600 paid for a Strada 2 weeks ago at a KTM/Husky dealer in Newport Beach. I didn't even need to test ride at that price They still had one left on Saturday with a "deposit received" tag, but it's been like that for 2 weeks....
What a steal!!! My dealer was selling them for $6500 and couldn't keep them in stock at that price. I'm still waiting on my Terra that may actually be listed as a 2014 by the time it gets here.
Turtlemoye, where did you buy from? I only ask because it is interesting to see how all us NC folks disperse to find Husky dealers. I passed about 3 on the way to Asheville to buy from Eurosport, and wouldn't have done it any other way.
I went to Eurosport as well. I live in GSO so the Raleigh dealer was closer and I was about equal distance to Wilmington and A'ville. After talking to Justin on the phone and seeing the positive comments here I was sold. Literally, I bought my TE511 over the phone without even seeing one in person and picked it up the next week. Hopefully those Terras come in soon.
Just found out Eurosport in Asheville picked up KTM last week. So now they have KTM, Husky, and BMW under the same roof. I am now even happier that I bought from them.
Suuwwweeeeettttt! The cheapest price is all you need from a Stealer (dealer) anyway, lol. Longbeach BMW reneged on $6K offer and test ride, and I said forget the borderline decision. I have a 97 BMW F650 Strada and a Honda Nighthawk 750 commuter, so I am actually pretty satisfied. And I knew the test ride would change my mind! Nice, a reliable racer for $5600! Now if a dealer gave the full $2500 off at $5000 (PLUS a test ride), I know I would own one now. I will still get one soon enough... maybe the next sale. THANKS for the heads up! It's nice to know and the BEST news I've seen here (the best Strada price and close to me in CA). When I do buy one, I will deal with them! Their integrity shows in their non-gouging pricing actions. Its still a buyers market :-o
I think the Terras are getting rare, at least here in northern CA. My dealer says everyone is asking for them but no one has them anymore. I'm sure there are exceptions, but it bodes well if an owner sells one later on. I was thinking about getting a KTM 690 enduro as I'm pretty disappointed in the parts support situation right now, but I just came back from a ride to the Pinnacles National Park and the Terra was just sooo good a ride. I know that the close ratio, vibratory KTM wouldn't have been near as fun.
I was there Saturday and they were sporting their new KTM sticker in the window. I feel lucky that my Strada will be supported by a dealer that represents all 3 brands.
I looked Justin in the eye when I bought my TE and ask if I could count on them to continue to support Husky, he said yes and I could tell he was telling the truth. As many bikes as they've sold in the last few months they would have to or risk a revolt if we couldn't get parts. Now if they would just get my Terra in soon.
Oh heck yeah! Eurosport being a KTM dealer is really good news. I need a 390 Duke. Maybe they'll be available before winter too! I'll call Justin mad see if I can get $ down to hold the first one. Best news of the week for sure
He said they would be getting in a few dirt bikes soon as there isn't much 2013 inventory in stock but it will be a few months before the 14's come in, the Duke being one of them.
