Couple I met posted a note about our encounter over on advrider. He took a pic after we had been talking a while, she's just staring at the terra. I'm beginning to think maybe part of the terms of the KTM deal is that BMW required KTM to kill the Nuda/Terra/Strada as they were tired of the Husky's getting all the 'buzz' and cutting into BMW sales.
It really is a shame this bike is going away. It is VERY good at what it does. Keeps amazing me every ride. Had a great 230 miles on it Saturday not far from where you were. (estacada, Timothy lake, Olallie lake etc.) Great bike for exploring...
Therefore I dont really get to terms with decision to scrap this bike altogether. Scrap this ecu/engine, but not this bike... the best selling machine in the entire range. Stupid or whaaat...
There just might be a whole lot of truth in what krussell said. When you think about it...it's the only thing that really pulls all the facts together.
