I love my efi te310 bike. Very easy to adjust and tune. Once you dial it in it runs great whether its hot or cool out and adjust it self for altitude.

They've only made a couple gazillion for cars, (I don't think Toyotas LOL) planes, boats, and other equipment. With mine and the couple other FI Husky's that are around me that have been flawless their whole "life" I really think the only issues are more of the organic matter.

Yes really. I've had pretty good luck with the 510 although I can make it sputter off idle with a throttle wick pretty easy AND it's on the slow G2 throttle cam. Doesn't bother me the way I ride.

The new 250 however, bit me a couple times last week on a woods ride and it's the same damn bog many others have mentioned on their TE/TXC 250's. I hit the gas when coasting down hill or from steady state of approximately 1/4 throttle and it sounds like the gas was turned off. It recovers once out of that sensitive range but I did pull over once to check the bike for something loose that may have been causing the bog. I've never noticed as much as this last ride.

I can't blame Mikuni for this, but who else (dirtbike manufacturer) is using Mikuni? iBeat is somewhat useful if you have the time and your laptop with you to tweak and ride. That's probably what I'll end up doing for a solid afternoon. Guess that's what guys with carbs do too......

Don't seem to read/hear as many complaints from the 610 folks about the FI. That's interesting.

I don't know... My 610 also has been 100% flawless from one coast to another, from below sea level to 6-7,000 ft and anywhere from 20 dgrees F in temp to over 100. Ever ask George for some insight??

very disappointed with my 2010 TE250s FI,bike just wont pull a higher gear like last years TXC 250,always seems to be in too high of a gear coming out of a corner, causing the bike to barely stay running and im forced to either fan the clutch or downshift to get in the power

I'm adapting to my 250 I guess. I still catch myself riding it in too high a gear, which I could get away with on the 510. The bog happens near the bottom end where there isn't a lot of power available anyway. It friggin snarls at 6K and higher so that's where I'm trying to make my self learn to ride it. There is something not right with the stock Arrow/ECU setup for a lot of people and it's costing Husky customers. I've got between 30 and 40 hrs on mine now so it's most likely settled down on the break in, I think. I'm a pretty low key rider so I can live with waiting for a fix. If I were racing this thing, I would probably be extremely frustrated.

These things should run like LRPct's 610, once broken in and set.

I still love riding both my Husky's!

You need to ride it another 200 miles and it will feel much better. Also adjust co settings and tps.

I wish my '10 TE250 came with a carb intead of a poorly designed EFI system. At least I could re-jet without much trouble. It's pretty much un-ridable as delivered.

I've found that my bike won't even run well stock, so I bought a power commander, pretty much what you need to do in order to tune it unless you have a good dealer with ibeat or your own ibeat tool.

Plus you need miles on these bikes. My bike started feeling good around 500 miles.

Mine was setup into race mode and re-mapped by the dealer before delivery. It runs great above 1/8 throttle but has a persistant stumble between 0 - 1/8.
The problem is my dealer is a 4 hr one-way drive if I want it adjusted.

That MAY be your issue KDX. Especially with how tight Husky motors seem to be these days, they run so different after being broken in that the PU and iBeat adjustments are better off made after some break in..500- 600 miles..

My 2006 TE250 took about that long to really get the power delivery. Now people think it is a 450, a few people have told me that.

You can buy it from semco designs much cheeper than form dealer and do it your self. Tps goes out at first. Adjust throutle plate then set tps. Try that first Before playing with co adjustments.

im gonna have to run it as is this weekend at the delaware enduro, i can race it,just have to be mindful of gear selection, that and hope i can make all four gas stops! 30 miles out of a tank so far with the light on for a few miles before, not sure how many miles it'll go till empty, but would rather not push it and run out

oh it does seem to run much cleaner with the S/A out?

Yep, I've got iBeat II and have messed with fairly minor settings so far. TPS is calibrated. I need to dedicate a whole ride to working on tweaking to see what works better. Kelly's seems to run very well when leaned out on CO1, mine got jittery when I tried his settings. May be a factor of break-in time as well. I'll still ride it! :p
