EFI vs. Carbureted

    Easy way to ckeck is just look at end of muffler if black too rich on one of the settings. Do one setting at a time. Should be a little gray.

    Can't go by color on pipe anymore. Gasoline has so much junk in it won't color right when think it's rich shows lean and visa versa.
    Long easy break in is the key usually 20-25 hrs 600 miles then and only then will start to tune properly without having to spend a bunch of time and money.

    My 2 cents

    Here is my input to this subject. 09 TE310, 1600 miles. All PU mods done except the O2 sensor is still installed. Exhaust diffuser(DB killer) installed. I-beat V1 used to set FB1=113.6. Pulls strong and smooth from the bottom to top. NO bogging, spark plug a nice tan color, 33MPG!! On occasion it will flame out (stall) at low RPM. But this could be more operator error than anything. I talked to a fellow 310 rider and his feeling was in PU it was snappier, but not really that much more power. I'm happy as is. But of course, YMMV (pun intended) :D
