    Yes, I agree with Andy. I set mine up at TDC static and with a timing light it shows about 1.7-1.8mm BTDC, I could probably go for more advance and will most likely experiment a bit as I think it can run more advance than that but it (500LC) flies as is!
    Mine has internal rotor.
