Looks as though the FBF/TM deal is dead.

The CDN TM Distributor is going to be the North American Distributor.

CA has restrictions on bikes. Street licensed (like TE's) can ride anywhere anytime. Green sticker OK in most places. Red sticker limited by place and season. This is one reason why thumpers are getting more popular.

I think the issue is Mark rides mostly the same trails (the burn / trask) with the same guys.

As mentioned by someone else, Baker Brothers (BC Canada) is now the importer of TM bikes into the USA. Prices for 2010 bikes are in line with other brands.

I cant see Barker Brothers doing anything with the TM brand in NA. They sure havent done anything with them in Canada.

Barker is right in my back yard and some of my riding friends are passionate TM riders. Barker has failed to gain their respect and allegiance. I hope it gets better as TM are a nice bike and I like seeing less orange in the woods.

Too bad, Ferracci would have been a huge step foward for TM, but with their limited production they probably did not want to sell more bikes so they probably went the right direction for that.

I have secretly had a crush on TM bikes for quite a while. They are pure bike porn. I'd buy one if I didn't have kids...always outgrowing what they ride.
