Going to pull mine out for couple of Hot laps around my place this weekend.

Curious to hear what you think after a good full ride on it.

Finally got to ride it today after work.... twice! I've been busy with some other things, since picking up the bike on Friday. I did get to install rad guards, my Flexx Bars setup, red PV spring and adjust the steering stops all the way in, on Sunday evening. I checked the air screw adjustment and tire pressure, before riding today. I also took a sanding sponge and sanded down the little pyramids on the stock gripper seat cover. Makes the seat cover livable!

I did get to ride the bike Friday at the dealer, so had a baseline. The jetting still needs to be improved, but you can ride around it much easier with the red spring, instead of the no color progressive spring from the factory. I rode some woods trail first, with a good mix of trail types. Later I rode it on my friend's little MX track.... "Mini-Dilla"! It has it's own mini version of the "Gravity Cavity".... Fun, Fun!

Bike is so light, nimble and easy to ride. This newest generation of KTM/Husky is a light year advanced from my '15 TE125/150 and '16 KTM 200 XC-W handling wise! Power is good and will be better with tuning. As I said.... Red spring is way better than factory installed one. Friend said I was way smoother on the new bike, than the '16 200 on his track.

Niggles so far..... I know it's tool less to remove the airbox cover, but do you really need to take it off, to remove the seat bolt? Not that impressed with the Magura brakes so far. I would have been happier with the Euro spec Metzler Six Days tires, than the Dunlop AT-81's and why put the same size rear tire on a 150, that the 250/300 get? ODI grips suck.... I can really tell, because I have a Domino dual compound on the left side of my old Flexx Bars and the ODI grip on the throttle side, as you can't take it off the throttle tube. Dealer is sending me a bare tube, that will work with the OEM throttle, but bike will get a G2 Ergonomics/Domino Quick Turn throttle, like I have on my '15 in the future.

Going to see Drew Smith at WER, to get suspension done. Not terrible stock, but I need it lowered a little for my short, stiff legs and Drew will make it work better than stock!

Nice bike, I would like to hear more about how much you lower it and how it works compared to stock when you have time.

I'm really light and find my bike to be too heavy for me in the woods. So I looked on the Husky website where it even calls the TE a featherweight enduro bike. But it's 203lbs without fuel. Is that really that light? That's about the same as my 11 CR150

16 lbs lighter than my '16 200XC-W, which was the only small bore e start 2T bike for direct comparison. Thought you meant Honda.... I had an '09 WR125 and doubt your '11 CR150 was 203 lbs. My '15 TE125 felt lighter than my '09 and and the '18 feels lighter yet!

Ha keep in mind far from a fair comparison....yes your Dr 150 weighs right around 205 as does the te....203 is advertised weight... however the te has electric start...kickstand...headlight..taillight....odo....18 inch rear wheel(one pound app heavier from tire..) bigger tank...skid plate? I think...so really that is awesome!!! The Motocross 125 tc or with 150 kit is 195 pounds Now that s crazy light

Stupid spell check...yes husky cr 150...also the te has a flywheel weight...i think it's crazy all that garbage(ok one man's trash is another man's treasure..) only adds ten pounds....norm give the brakes time I've heard some good things...however...oh yea same brake pads as brembo...if husky is the.premium brand then wtf does ktm get world class brembos....another.reason to buy a tc I guess...

Will do! I usually go 1.5" lower. My '16 KTM 200XC-W was the best suspension I've ever ridden.... PDS and all. If Drew can replicate that on this bike, I'll be in good shape.

I really need to weigh my 2001 YZ125, the add weight stuff it has are 9ozFWW, plastic skid plate, flag type hand guards, IMS pegs, mousses, the lose weight stuff ProCircuit Platinum with 304 shorty silencer (loudener) all else stock. after this weight talk I'm really curious.

I have been informed that in 2 weeks the Zip Ty Racing Custom built TC 125 will be ready for all new tests Lets see what it weights set up for the Nationals

I'm betting stock dry weight ready to ride no fuel or.accessories around 207....05 and up ready to ride no fuel around 202....195 for a new tc 125 is crazy....and the other companies are bailing on air forks..3.6 pounds....

I got down to see Drew Smith at Works Enduro Rider today, for a suspension revalve and lowereing. Drew and Mike are always fun to see and the stories flow! We pulled the bike all apart to grease everything and I've never bought a new bike with less grease, like none on the steering stem, swing arm pivot and linkage! Hans and Franz at Mattinghofen, don't like to get grease on their hands! Anyone who bought this bike and didn't grease it, would be screwed after a few wet fall months of riding and washing.

Next up.... Off with the OEM Dunlops and put some Kendas on!
