It looks like it is. If you're looking for the lightest helmet check out the Airoh's. I finally got to see one in person, it's the lightest helmet I've ever felt. Also, the guy who owned it (he buys new gear all the time) said it has the best ventilation of any helmet he's ever had. The KTM guys, atleast Milsaps team is using them. It's a Italian brand that Leo Vince started importing here. Only person on the forum I know that has one is Robertaccio but some other guys here may be able to tell you more.

    Yes, 2.1 pounds.
I have been in clubs and groups for both street and dirt riding women. It seems that these groups loose their enthusiasm after a while, at least around here.

Maybe you can help here....I'm getting more and more neck pain thu the yrs and loss of movement in my neck it seems... I can't hardly turn my head from side to side ... Its just stiff ... After ~4 hrs out on the bike, the pain starts to show up just above my shoulder blades and after ~6hrs, I can still ride, but I'm needing beer for the pain and hot water on run down it ...

Can you or anyone tell it this light-weight helmet might help on this neck pain? ... I don't wanna end up in a few yrs with a neck that won't turn from side to side ...

Yes, the less weight you have balanced on top of the neck, the less leverage, force and strain it will have on your neck. This is the KEY reason I bought the Suomy. It is a wonderful helmet, that I hardly even notice while I am riding.

That's exactly what the guy said about the Airoh (the Suomy of course is another option). It helped with fatigue just because it was so light. So these lighter helmets may really help you out

~350 is alot for me to spend for a helmet, but I'm getting a little afraid of long term effects ... One part of my ride is to be 100% aware that I must get my helmet off as much as possible during the start of the ride to delay the 'pain in the neck' from starting ... once it starts, only beer or keeping the helmet off helps... They have some white and mostly white models also to ward off the heat.

I hope so and the Airoh (550.00?) helped already by making the Suomy look reasonably priced... :)

Bummer DD I went to their web site and they did not have a section for riding gear... I was hoping to look at what they have and try and order some. Those riding Jerseys and pants look pretty cool.

We are using the Kali helmets, very light and fit nice. You really feel the difference after a couple hours - light is good. Mark tried one out with a high speed endo last year. Held up well so he replaced with another one, and I bought one too.

Well DD and RA inspired me. Used my Rocky Mountain Race Gas cards and bought some new blue gear. Fly Racing F-16 gear. My wife always says I need new gear so she can find me at the races. Don't know what to do if this doesn't help :)
