First real dirtbike

here's a whole gaggle of those DKWs (well, ok- 2); I'm 59x and I believe the year is 1972.




DD- why did I think you rode Bultaco or CZ?? (...and check out my gloves. Hell- EVERYBODY's gloves.)

and about those leathers,,, they were leather

1979 Yamaha IT 400 , I was 18 , the power was alot , but smooth like a current 300 . ( I will not review the rest of the bike, in a happy place right now )

I had a DKW 250 and a 350 twin back in the day- both road bikes however. Went very well for 2 bangers.
