Frames - Steel -v- Aluminum

    2015 FE 501 with lots of goodies.

    BMW G450X, 15'FE501, 23 KTM 1290 SAR
    That billet alloy frame would surely anodize nicely and if done in clear or colors it would come out very consistant. (IE) no castings or forgings. Some particular Aluminum alloys don't take to anodizing well so it would depend on what series of Aluminum alloy it was made from.

    What a total waste of time and money though and all that being said by a US Federal Govt. Employee. You would think I would be used to seeing wasted money right? I am, saw it being wasted all week. Its now my weekend and it all starts over on Monday again.
