I would still try anyway! It just wouldn't seem fair. I've got an '08 and my pump just died a month ago and got it replaced (I live in Europe though, 2 year warranty). I would speak to my dealer and have him contact Husqvarna and see if you can work something out. The normal life expectancy of a fuel pump is longer than 2 years. The '08's have lots of problems with their fuel pumps in general.
