Bill, how does the new EC300 compare in height and openness to my 2009 wr250. I had an 03 EC200DE that was a really good bike but it was just too small for me.

Its just a bit lower in seat height but sitting and riding position, when I jumped on it for the day it fit me just like a Husky .it steers a bit quicker but i felt right at home on it all day long and really need to get back on my FE250 for a day soI know wich oneI want to race next.

Understand though that *this* bike is the limited edition race replica, one of only 1000 built.

I can tell you that it has all of the improvements and refinements that my 360WXC should have had. It's fantastic!

I was very impressed with all the new GG at your dealership. Didn't even look much at the Husky's. I'm sure it will sell soon.

Buddy of mine just picked up a 2012 model that's been street plated. It's power transition is incredibly smooth. He was recommended by the previous owner to start it with the kicker when cold. Then, e start all day. I'm hoping to get his FMF stealth muffler off him once he upgrades to something different.

I know this is and old thread but I like this bike! Give it to me with no electric start and figure out how to trim the fat and it would be sweet! Since 12 the gassers are getting more refined with the brake pedal and the subframe. But need to be lighter for a fast old guy. Rode my buddies 11 six day 300 last weekend. I still have a soft spot Fir them. Did this bike sell and what is the price????

Iand doesnt feel heavy at all REALLY LIKE /LOVE THE 2014 GAS GaS EC300 ,Im riding one now and it doesnt feel heavy at all.I think the 14s are a bit lighter and amazing pulling motor awesome traction yet when on the gas its as fast as anything. We have one a the NW gathering for 4 days for people to ride. The Fe250 is just plain awesome also just havent been selling. We cant get enough 350s ever so with dealer incentives a guy can save almost $1500 off MSRP on the FE250 and almost $2000 off the last of the 2014 GAS GAs Bikes.

I think the 2014 was listed as 9-11 pounds lighter. Mostly in the redesigned frame i think.

I think the colors and graphics look great. I like riding bikes that break the norm looks wise. Plus she runs too that's awesome.

They said that much lighter. But weigh it. I heard from a reliable source (very reliable) more like 4 pounds. They are truly nice bikes but a real and I mean real 19 to 20 pounds heavier then a similer bike the KTM/husky s and gassers have been weighed at the same time on the same scale. Yes they do feel light when riding but. The brakes heat for a reason......heavy pig....without question I've had at least seven of them in 200 250 and 300cc versions hec a pink 97 even! But until they go on a serious diet or I quit racing I have to not get suckered in by the fact they are so good looking!! While on a diet. Pitch the Nissan brakes and put on brembos as well!! And install ipd graphics. To lose weight the cool looking frame must have to go.....if that bike were lighter I'd be on it
