Giant Loop MoJavi Review

I even caught George giving these a thumbs-up.

I rode with the Dave from giantloop a couple of weeks ago. I actually almost had a head on crash into him. We talked and I followed him and his group. Nice group of guys and secret trails. The bag looked cool. He said it was their new design so expect more from them!

He was with a bunch of guys from Seattle. I had never met him until then but my riding buddies knew him and others in his group that are from around here. Cool guys. They are big into dualsports.

Just ordered one for myself, plan on taking to this weekends class at Jimmy Lewis's place. Kinda concerned how it will fit on the 449 with the nuclear reactor of a muffler on this thing. I got the GL heat shield too. Maybe, just maybe, I wont smoke another pair of pants on the muffler now.

Ill report back if I actually run it out at Jimmy's.

I was thinking about a coyote but to things concern me. First the comment nice about it not riding well when not full. Second at 54 yrs old and 5'9" the 37.7" saddle height in my te511 is already a challenge to get my leg over. I'm afraid anything on the back that increases the height I have to throw my leg over might not work for me. Anyone have any other ideas for enduro/adventure ride storage?

Husky 19, I have an '08 TE610. I purchased the Coyote specifically to use in the LA-Barstow-Las Vegas ride last November. Although the design is great quality, it was TOOO big to be on the back of my bike. I was riding a pretty good pace and doing pretty good through the whoops section. But when my suspension compressed, the right side of the bag kept getting shredded by the rear tire. Used it one time and it got jacked up on the inside. Grrr. knowing what I know now, I wish I would have purchased the Mojave for my type of riding. Now, if I were to just kinda putt putt around on fire roads and also what someone else posted about filling it up, then the Coyote would be great. As for your height and swinging a leg over, for some reason, I had no problem getting my leg over it (also 5'9"). The design puts the gear to the rear and to the sides. Again, great design, function and I think I could have stowed away a few Los Angeles news weather girls in there. LOTS of room. So now I'm going to see if I can get my bag repaired. And if you decide to get the Mojave and then wish you went with a bigger bag....send me a smoke signal or sumthin'.
