I'm all ears too. I don't ride any sand or soft tracks just hard packed red clay and rocks. I'd like to hear what Ty does with these conditions. Good luck and thanks for the update.

You have 2 weeks to get that new bike working like you want. Then you will have to race Rd 10 the 100 Nationals Come on lets see if you can beat this old man on his old out dated Husky CR 300.

John it is a tall order this year, I leave for biz tues and return on 24th. no time for prep, tires are shot, front mousse is like at the 5psi level, rear is on tube, thats fairly quick but lack of prep always leaves me uptight. excuses......its not falling well into place this year for me.

Well hopefully that's all there is to it. I need to read up on these forks, they sound like a cool design. Can't wait for the ride report

That's pretty much how I feel about my Berg. Don't know if Huskys and bergs have the same or similar valving. I'm fatter, 275, and have .46's in front and a real stuff progressive in the rear, can't recall what rate. It is great on big whoops, sand, g-outs and hard landings but yeah, straight up it sucks in hacked out crap and god help me in rough lose off camber stuff. Can't wait to see what Ty does for these. I also have a set of Zokes for a 610 that might need his attention, but I actually feel my 4cs's are dangerous right now!

I had a older FE390 70 degree motored berg for about 200 miles of serious demo (high mountains ion WA). One of my favorite stock bikes ever. Suspension was for some reason better than any KTM for me and it was PDS which I dont usually care for. Was a fun bike to ride. Felt fast on it although don't think it made me faster. The great stock suspension surprised me.

(thanks to Jeff Tasky for the bike demo)

apples and oranges fellas PDS vs Linkage rears. All new WHT Huskys are linkage bikes, Husabergs are all PDS.

I realize rear suspension does have an effect on the front, but the forks in question are similar if not the same and seem to have the same quirks. That said, my 650 had great stock suspension, much better than the KM PDS.

I realise that and posted it. Was more of a reference from one stock suspension to another.

All Ty did was bounce up and down on the forks to feel that they are way off (we and I include me have them all out of sorts)

I've got a 2014 250XC. 4CS forks. I was a little reluctant to pull the trigger because many, many people have had problems getting these dialed in. Additionally, Kreft is supposed to do great work -- but I didn't want to spend $1000 for my forks -- its just way to expensive for me. Not sure what the bill would be on a ZipTy job, but I am sort of opposed to spending $7k on a bike and another $1000 to get the forks to work.

As luck would have it, I ride with the guy who owns the local shop and swung a leg over his 2014 350XC-F [with the same forks]. His forks worked really well. He had his guys at his shop revalve them and re-spring them. So I pulled the trigger.

I rode the bike for a couple hundred miles stock [with springs for my weight]. The were pretty harsh. A fair bit of deflection as you push 2nd and 3rd gear type stuff. Into the shop for a revalve. MUCH BETTER. They are still firm -- some of the little stuff makes its way up the bars a bit. Not as butter smooth as the open chambers. Where the 4CS are way better is when the pace picks up -- they just track better and hold a line better. Good enough for me.

Approx $340 depending on seals or other parts condition. This includes Eibach springs, valves, oil, labor and the ZipTy proprietary parts.
