We take great pride in our work. We give factory like suspension services to the public. Every fork/shock, valve, spring, washer is custom machined here on site in order to make sure it fits your suspension. You would be amazed how many big name suspension shops don't even own a lathe. All of our springs are digitally tested to be exactly what they say they are. And our suspension fluids (RFF & RSF) are the best money can buy for the same or less than you might pay for generic at other shops.

I don't think a lot of people realize there are like 5 different versions of 4cs. I don't think you can compair one bike brand/model to another just because they have 4cs, from talking to several people some love them some don't but they're different versions of the same thing and its hard to compare. That being said my 14' fe350 seemed great on the surface until you get beyond trail pace then it just sucks.
I agree one shouldn't have to pay top dollar for a bike to have to spend $1000-1400 to get the forks rengineered.

i dont mind paying the extra bucks to tailor the suspension and it actually supports those who support the sport....at 210lbs that is a reasonable issue that costs over and above because Im outside the average base. What I would like is for the OEM (Beta US kinda does this) is to offer the bike OTD all ready with the general set up upon order for me, ie. #1 proper spring rates for my weight out of the box. At least start with the correct spring rates when the bike is delivered, if I want more comp bleed i can get a revalve for example. Many of the car companies have that order/build/on demand typer deal all the computer controlled stuff directly linked to the assy line. Cost effective for the oem?? i dont know, thats for the bean counters, i just wish they had that arrangement.

Rob Back in the day 1981 I ordered a custom built Honda XR 500 C&J framed Fox shock race bike it was at the time the best you could get . Then from 1984 to 1999 I rode ATK. Every time I got a bike I would go to the factory tell them what I planed to do with it answer a lot of questions and ATK would built me a bike.

Then ATK got sold to some one in Utha and for me it was never the same. Gone were Houste Leither and Willie Korton and the build sheet request so also I was gone

When I went Husky back in 2006 I tried to find some one to help out here on the West coast and no one really knew anything about a Husky But then National sales manager for Husky, Rob Keith turned me on to Fast by Ferricci
and Peadro from the Zock factory in Italy. Both those guys were so good heck they even gave me there cell phone nunbers and said call me if you need anything.

But then Husky worked with and built a team around Zip Ty Racing. Now we had a some what Factory based off road Husky Team Center on the west coast to help with anything Husky. But as all thing Husky it was canceled after a few years and a few different owners of the company Husky
Zip Ty has still been there for us as a independent non official Husky center. We can only hope that as time goes on the new owners of Husky who really have no question and answer center WILL return to Zip Ty as a Factory Support Center We can hope that maybe we can order a new bike already set up ready to do what we have planned for it. Like you said many car companies offer that, some like Ford even have a Factory Race car program. You can for a price order a full on race car built for racing There web sigh is really a candy store for the rich
For now I will keep racing my ex Zip Ty Racing Husky Cr 300 set up as the best you can get out of a old school Italian 300 smoker BUT I have been in contact with Ty to help me build either a new 125 or a new 300 Cant wait to ride your 300 and compare it to a worked over 125. Who knows which one I will be racing next year. I do know that I will be on a Husky just which one is still open

So the real question, who can give a 4CS report of the after Zip Ty racing treatment???

chums that depends on how far ZipTy is going to go with my 4CS..they (Ty) have a "make it work" work order.....that can mean alot and can mean far from the oem spec 4CS set up. I shall wait and see. Its wide open. but one thing I do know no matter what the final config is it will work due to the uncompromising work that is being done up at the Zipty "Lab"

I am waiting for your results on this one, as it looks like we may have 2 separate 2014 4CS forks to deal with here.

I dont like the word hate......and it may reflect on my inability to get them sorted.
However I have been paying attention to all the mag articles and without going into specifics I keep getting the idea that they also have a tough time getting them set up to be well rounded (they are limited in their settings).

just adding info, when I loosened them up for our gnarley rock sections they would bottom badly on drop offs, if I clicked more comp to fight hard bottom they would ruin me in the rocks. we upped the oil to quell bottoming but they still acted the same, but just moved the clicker spot. still would bottom hard if I opened comp to deal with sharp rocks then i would gradually click in more comp to keep me from bottoming then they were beating me again in the rocks.....and on and on.

I'm assuming my 2015 Pumpkin has the same forks so I appreciate your feedback.

I know I'm about to compare apples and oranges but I went riding yesterday and rode my new to me 08' 450/Kx 500 conversion back to back with the fe350 and the kx450 frame I believe came with a 24.5mm off set vs the 20mm husky. The Kx felt MUCH better to me, and much more planted in the corners which has me thinking a 22mm offset might be OK on the husky, just food for thought.

We did pull your suspension and it is on the rack. We finished your old bike first. I had your tranny fluid changed to 0w40 w/maxi. Know more on Monday.
