Well the tyres are here the tyres are here Look what just showed up at Zip Ty Racing a container of Golden Tyres
I doubt those tires will last us to the end of the month, so if you want a fat tire or gummy, don't wait.
So I hear you have a new harder compound front tire in this batch? I'm sticking with what I know works for now but am curious about the new version.
Just got some more Golden love. I decided to try the new DST fatty front for DS duty. Grabbed a 523 too as the 250 seems to really like the one it has now. FYI there is also a 120 size 523 that is also the DST compound. The traditional AA fronts are all gone though, so if you sat on your hands it's too late...
I ordered one the day they came in. I learned my lesson already... Let us know how the dual sport front works out for you. They tried selling me on one but I was too skerd so I stuck with what I know works for me.
See what happens when I sell you a Husky WR 250 with all the Zip Ty secrets. I told you that 523 was a great tire. I really do not understand how it works so well and also last so long. For a performance tire it is the best at working and lasting. My new TE 300 is sitting at 3 Brothers Racing Those boys sure hooked me up Lets just say I STOLE IT. They do have another one Ask for Recardo the owner.I will pick it up next week BUT before I even ride it I will mount up a 216 in the front and a 523 in the rear. Why go ride the bike with the factory sub standard tires and then expect the new TE to be better then my old all dialed in Italian Husky I am so expecting the new TE to shine so I will do all I can to it before I ever ride it. That way it will have a chance. Then once I do what I think I know note the words I think. The new TE 300 will go by Zip Ty Racing for the true racing set up. If the TE that Zip Ty Racing supported rider Dalton rode to a win at every race he entered this year at the Nationals PRO CLASS Just think how well my bike will work. If I do not do well I will not have the bike to blame.
I heard that Zip Ty Racing just got in another shipment of the Golden Tyres 90/100/21 FATTY As we all know how fast they will sell out Also they got in more of the 523 Rocky and other Golden Tyres I still have not found a better set up then a Fatty up front and a 523 Rocky in the rear
Time to grab another one. One freshy waiting for DMC, and should last most of the season. But gotta have some back up.
Mounted up my new Goldens Tyres Getting the bike ready for Rd 1 of the Nationals Fatty in the front 523 Rocky in the Rear. Also picked up a 523x for King of the moto the following weekend
Turns out a friend of mine who owns a local shop is now the west coast distributor for GT. He hooked me up with a GT523KX and it looks gnarly. Can hardly wait to try it.
