Sounds to me that this group buy is actually standard ordering from the GPR site, but to get a discount somehow the word 'cafe husky' should be entered when ordering. If that is the case then that alleviates many of the issues that I was concerned about. Not terribly sure why all the concern of cat & spark arrester... some people remove one of those (or both) from their bike as a matter of course for various reasons. Often times exhausts that do not have spark arrestors can have them added - it is just a screen in the exhaust.
I think the worry is only for California owners. I think the NE has smog tests too but not as strict. Here in the South we are still free from the oppression of ridiculous smog and gun control!
[ Only concern i have is where the ruling sits on emissions in ca, as they tight the ANAL belt. Not concerned with compliance of such laws, so much as associated fines of disproportionate sums.

Because it is illegal anywhere in the nation to remove a cat from a street-registered motorcycle. And it is illegal in most most national forests, and most state forests (including a lot of deserts) to not have a spark arrestor. Don't be fooled by the 'California' bike exhaust laws. It is a Federal offense to put a non-approved exhaust on your bike anywhere in the United states (unless it is for closed-course competition). California just happens to be the only place that is worried about it right now.
Guys, I think the best thing is contact the GPR by www.motochepassione.it, they will be perfectly able to provide you with the answers you need. I do not speak English well. risk of doing more confusion. Ragazzi, credo che la miglior cosa sia contattare direttamente la GPR tramite www.motochepassione.it , loro saranno perfettamente in grado di fornirvi le risposte necessarie. io non parlo bene inglese. rischio di fare più confusione.
I know almost everything now, apart from: - do the European versions have cats included; - what code to enter to get discount, and, last but not least - how to order in Italian
Lol...it looks like the group buy will save us a whopping $16 USD. Eh, better than nothing I guess http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUSQVARNA-T...742?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51a3a517e6 Another thing note worthy is the catalyst is only $30 if you wish/need to install one.
Still not clear what the CH discount 'code' will amount to. Also after delving into numerous articles online concerning emission laws in Ca C.A.R.B. Which in turn lead me to reading the pro's and cons of Cats. Which basically left me with this also....... If anyone can enlighten me regards catalytic convertors and any real world knowledge of their enhancement or impedance in a proposed replacement system such as this i'd be woefully grateful I'm actually wandering if it shouldn't be another thread, as it appears this one's kinda' null and void at this point. As this, least for me, raises several questions. As the GPR system appears to have placed the cat in the head and not in the tail. Being as my header currently gets unbearably hot on days above 80 degree's. This cat in the head doesn't bode well............anyone?
No ... look these ... is the answer at my email from GPR Each order per se, but currently I did publish on the site motochepassione standard prices and will order the European customer, I did create a discount coupon of 10% to be applied at the end of your shopping cart. The price motochepassione has already lowered by 20% compared to the prices of shops "physical", so in total it becomes almost a 30% discount. For customers extra cee instead the site is not ready yet, so order must contact us via email, we will send you a paypal request for payment, customer by customer BY the end of October we will then U.S. active site, with prices already in the Dollars.
I don't have a dog in this fight, so my view is for the most part unbiased. It seems to me that this isn't really a 'group buy' if they aren't specifying a number of units that must be purchased to achieve a discount. I would say that maybe its a Cafe Husky discount, but there have been no hints to that either. Also, where are the original prices listed to compare the discounts to? I'm sure people would be interested to s how much they are saving.

It won't be U.S. legal either, but that is not a huge concern for the rest of the country at this point. All exhausts in the U.S. must have a 'federal Environmental Protection Agency exhaust system sound emissions label'. This is also the label that California is looking for on new exhausts.
FYI...If you search their site all of the part numbers on the spreadsheet that had a .33 in it will be listed as .32
From what i can ascertain this seems to be the main concern in Ca i.e EPA/DOT marked on the pipe, as supposedly all make/models beyond 2000. It seems senator Pavey was going for tighter emission regs on bikes, hit some resistance and went for the sound or db metering instead. Knowing this the only real benefit i could see from having a cat in the head is to help restrict/quiet the overall sound or db. Personally i want the aftermarket pipe as quiet as i can get it. But as mentioned earlier in this thread, what concerns me with the terra, is what kinda heat that would generate in that mid section pipe( where i'm guessing the cat would be placed). Either way, it also seems that current laws in Ca as of 2012 require motorcycles be smogged every second year. So for that occasion the stockers would need to go back on. Maybe the price some of us will have to pay if we want to pursue after market pipes in this state!
