This is Royal. He was abandoned by people that got evicted from the property behind us. He casually walked over and just moved in! He has since passed away but we were lucky to have him fir a couple years. Had many pets over the years but this guy was special. Had the personality of a dog. Ran to you when you got home. Would lookat you when you entered the room and nod his head. Never had a cat like this. To this day cant understand why anyone would abandon him.
Here's Pia, pain in ass. She's a rescue and was 30 lbs under weight and heart worm positive when I picked her up from the humane society. From what I can tell she had no training and any interactions with people were not good. It's taken almost 3 years to become what I consider to be "normal" dog. She's good with most people and great with kids. I don't know if she will ever be fully socialized with other dogs, there's something in her background that I can't seem to help her with.
My dog Pia passed away in her sleep awhile back and I still miss her. I felt very fortunate to have had her for 3 1/2 years and for all the love and joy she brought to family and friends. After some time I decided there was something missing so I went and rescued another, everybody needs a little chaos in their life. Now I have that with Adia, another dumb idea a$$hole. Happy Father Days
