Here's my namesake & the original Ruffus (purebread Malamute), I miss you big guy Our next furry critter is Almond, my wife couldn't stand not having a furball around, funny she wanted a lap dog. A coworker got a kitten for his boy, but found out soon enough his boy was alergic, he planned on dumping the kitty at a farm, I thought that was cruel & called my wife,(she's always wanted a cat, I wasn't a cat person) So here's Reaper (as in Grim Reaper) A couple weeks ago another coworker asked if I still had Ruffus (her dogs attended same obedience class). When I said no, said I miss him, she asked if I wanted another her brother had a baby on the way & 2 Malamutes + newborn was one Malamute too many. So here's Malakai, oddly enough, she's from the same breader where I got Ruffus. Now my wifes got 2 lap dogs + a cat that's terrified of Malakai
Squeaky mounted a Husky. "Squeaky" because he does, ?long haired Chihuahua? dog rescue adopted. he kinda looks like the motosportz mutt only lower on the ankle bite and a little more fuzzy. great little dog, not a yapper, very obedient and friendly.
Here's the crew Whisper is the 2 1/2 yearold female black lab, Scout is a 3yo male yellow lab/russian wolfhound, Willow white/black cat and finally Harmony is the black cat. Add a couple of kids and my amazing wife. Life is never dull at our place although it looks like it is right now.
It was pretty funny when it happened. My wife is sitting off to the right. One after another they came in and layed down. Then she called me in to take the pic. Animals are funny
This is Mitzy we've had her for about 10 years. She's about 13yrs old, her former owner died and no one knew it for about a week. Mitzy was locked in his backyard with no food or water until his passing was discovered, we took her in and nursed her back to health and she has been a beloved memeber of our family ever since. This is Roxy her story was similar to Mitzy's. After we took her in she developed a real love for me and guarded me jealously she was just starting to warm up to the rest of the family when she suffered a heart attacked and passed away. We were at our vacation home at the time so I dug a grave for her at the house and made a nice memorial for her. We had only had her a little over a year but loved her dearly. After Roxy had passed away there was a empty spot in our household and the wife became obsessed with filling the void so she set out on a mission to find a replacement for her. We ended up rescuing Cody from a puppy mill where he was the resident stud for their Dachshund breeding. He has been a bit problematic because constantly feels the need to challenge me for the position of alpha dog but after about a year he is finally coming around.
Well if this was a photo contest on the best pictures of your pet(s). That one is the winner so far. Great picture of "The Crew" Love the reflection of Willow in the table.
