I find I am riding mine more than my 2010 TXC250 just because it is so freaking FUN Fogging it like a mad man is just good fun. Enjoy.

    - just noticed yours does not have the updated head stay mounts. Odd. It's not an issue though. New ones only have one bolt up top to eliminate breakage.

    - Also looks like it has the pipe that rubs the resi.

    - Lube the linkage and steering stem bearings before you ride it, with real grease.

    - Might have someone go through and bleed the forks, seems like they come kinda messed up and are WAY better after done right. I may have a little present for you (Have some light springs that might work great in those for you)

    - Stock skid plate is actually pretty good and like $20 it you do kill it.

    - Clarke confirmed on the phone today they are making a 3 gallon tank for it.

    - Not necessary but the PWK carb sure works better on it, especially with the JD needle.

    - unfortunately it needs a sparky. FMF makes one.

    WooooHoooo, Woodschick. :applause::applause::applause:

Kelly will fix you up with all the trick stuff. If I was doing it over again I would buy the PWK first thing instead of struggling to find the sweet spot on the TMX. Hee Hee, I am pretty quick to spend other peoples money.

    Nice bike!

Welcome to the club. I was just thinking about whether or not you decided to get the bike...I guess it wasn't really an option though, after riding one. Now you can join us in talking about how we blew past 450s on the MX track, drag raced corvettes on the street, and placed it in your office as decoration....amazing bike, even if it only makes you feel like a hero on two wheels, ha ha.

A lot of fun ahead of you now.

Yeah, I didn't realize that til last night. I should have one on my porch tomorrow.

    Thanks for the help, Kelly!

Yeah, thanks, Walt :p I'll think about the carb, but I'll see if I can get it where I want it without the PWK.

I did! I forgot to take photos at the shop, though. I was too busy spending money and picking out stuff like pipes and handguards and stuff:D

Took these when we got home. It just looks like everyone else's stock WR125...only at night :excuseme:

Well, I'd been thinking about if for a long time. I didn't get serious til I found a good deal on a used one. Not knowing if the 125 would work for me, I couldn't pull the trigger. I PM'd Joshua the next day and asked him if I could test ride his WR. That was really all it took:)

    Nope! Nothing at all! :busted:

I certainly hope not! I'm tired of breaking bones and bikes, so I figured what better gift for a 47 -year-old busted-up woman than a new 125? Congrats to you on your new bike, too

So it looks like you now have the one top bolt head stay? Was it in the box or something?

Thanks, Joshua. And thanks again for letting me experience all that creamy 125 goodness firsthand. I would probably still be thinking y'all were a bunch of liars if I hadn't ridden the thing myself:p I'm really looking forward to getting back to my "roots," as it were. The one thing I've always enjoyed about 125's is the ability to ride them hard without putting one's life in danger. They really make me feel like I know what I'm doing sometimes, and when it's right on a 125, there's really not much that can compare. Here's hoping I can find that "right" spot on this new machine

Thanks, john01 :) Les was contacted about my suspension almost 3 weeks ago, the FMF pipe should be on my porch tomorrow, I'll probably end up with Walt's springs sooner or later and I've got my eye on the factory 144 kit if Kelly will still give me the sale price:D That one might have to wait til it's time for a new top end, though.

Oh yeah, my new PivotPegz arrived 2 days ago:thumbsup: I'm doomed to buy them forever, as they are a huge benefit for my funky ankle. I love `em!

Thanks, highdez :) I've found everything from 211lbs dry to 222lbs dry. I'd be curious to know, though. Has anyone weighed their WR/CR125?

Believe it or not we managed to wedge it into the garage last night:eek:
I should have taken a photo. Maybe tonight!

Thanks, PC. Nothin' finer than a new dirtbike, that's for sure :applause:

Well, at least someone's paying attention

I don't know, the first photo was taken as it was being put together, so maybe the new stay really was included in the kit?

    Anything else I missed? :p
