The building is owned by 2 brothers who seem like enthusiasts to me, to say the least!

They set up a 'museum' in the building, and here are some pictures of that, in no particular order

I would not be surprised... A whole lot of people where there, very important people from an earlier era.

I'll try to remember some of the names later, many were from Europe.

Okay, so I boned it and forgot my good camera. Glad you had a nice rig to get those great pics. However I did get this on my phone.....

I did go to your shop and look for you, think it was about 9am long before the event was supposed to start.

As I said, a lot of interesting and important people from the past were there, here is Brad Lackey getting some type of an award. I believe the photographer may have been with Transworld MX, at least a Transworld MX pick up was in the parking lot..

There were all sorts of people there including David Aldana

They even gave me some posters!

It is probably difficult to see, but Gunnar Lindstrom & Torsten Hallman are now involved in the project, so I got to spend time with them also.

And I met an extraordinary gentleman from Europe, possibly Belgium? I even got one of the posters autographed by him, his name was Joël Robert.

Apparently someone even made a wiki article about him.

I don't know. It was a group of people introducing each other just before the key person that was putting the Dirty Old Times documentary was about to interview him. I shook his hand, and he smiled.

Joel Robert is from Norway. My girlfriend recognized him first and reminded me how to say thank you very much in Norwegian after he signed my Hopetown T shirt. I am looking forward to next year. Wish I knew what you look like Coffee. Would have been a pleasure to shake your hand.
