For me a Cagiva 250/300 motor with that goofy starter is easier to start than a KTM (Husky) 250/300 or any Japanese 250 2T. A Gas Gas 200 is hard for me, because it's the 250/300 cases.
Yup I'd agree with that but it's what you're used to as well I guess. I hate the feeling of shin on footpegs, prefer sole of boot!
When I was in a hurry my boot was on the dog leg not the end.... Slip off and wasted kick... I wear knee/shin guards no shin to the peg
I threw a leg over a 2015 beta rr this summer....was a mistake....fell inlove. They are street plateable enduros up here too!
True, we just entered into Red Sticker season which means we get to ride our 2 strokes at public riding areas. Unless of course you have an old bike with a green sticker. The air Nazis out here with CARB will never allow us to plate any 2 strokes over 50cc again. I don't care if they find a way to turn the exhaust gas into baby breath, it'll never happen. However it does give us incentive to race so we can ride our smokers all year.
I probably shouldn't type this, but, that red Beta is BUTT UGLY sitting next to that Husky! To each their own.
Fantic stays, as it's about as good as you can get, for an air cooled, twin shock, drum brake Trials Bike. I just want new really light (145 lbs) trials bike, with good suspension and brakes. I have no natural talent, when it comes to riding and want it for cross training.....
I picked up a 4t beta about month and half ago. I was hooked on my husky 2t that I rode every chance I got. Light and nimble in trails I ride. Last 4t I had was years ago. Was little worked about weight difference at first but it feels very close. Handling is smooth as is delivery. It makes you feel like a better rider. Not sure if a good thing but she's yet to fail me. Only complaint is front tire feels squirrelly at times, might try change up soon. Also RR model is plate able in nj
I went from the husky 125 to the 430 and almost 2 months later am still like a kid in a candy store. Spend more time riding and playing with this bike than with wife. Needless to say she's not a fan
