Ducati came within a signature of buying Husqvarna. Milloni was the CEO at the time and there was bad blood (Italian bad blood-they never let go) between him and the Castillioni's. The deal didn't happen. I talked to Mr. Deltorchio about this (current Ducati CEO) and he claims he could have got the deal done. Crap, I really wanted a Desmo valve train on a 680 CC single.
