Not sure exacly how this happened but I now own my 3rd 04 CR125. Ordered up all white plastic, looking for blue graphics. Suspension will go to Richard at House of Horsepower for his magic, Seat to seat concets for thier magic, cylinder to Walt for his 165 majic and i should end up with the nicest 04 ever :D Alsways loved the 2000-2004 narrow bikes with low fuel tank but always hated the forks on those. This one is going to get slowly decked out. All that it can be.

will get Motoz Terrapactors front and rear and the Doma pipe before it's initial feel me out ride and tear down.

Its a sickness! I always liked the yellow and blue colors. Reminds me of my '99 360. I didnt care for the forks on that bike at all. I just brought home new addition yesterday too. Picked it up from Scott at Toy Tech for a price that I simply could not pass up. First FI bike so I am a bit nervous working on it. I am anxious to take it for a spin. IMG_0224.JPG

great bikes. As for EFI / working on it be super careful when you take the tank off not to break the plastic L coming out of the EFI tank plate. It is real hard to not stress it and it likes to break. Ty has a replacement aluminum one.

Thanks for the heads up! Anything else that I should replace right away? Besides normal protection and stuff. I was thinking a magnetic drain bolt would be a good idea. Any special tools needed? I suppose I should go to the other side (four stroke forum) and poke around a bit.

Check the flywheel bolt is tight and also make SURE the oil feed line to the head is turned as far counterclockwise as it will go then tighten the banjo bolt. I safety wired mine too. You do not want to kick the line and loosen the bolt and blow all of that .9qts of oil out of the motor.

When adjusting valves...be very light on the torque when you replace the valve caps...like 45in/lb max.

I have I-beat if you need it.

Have fun...I rode a TXC310 at Sandy Lane and liked it a lot. It ran very clean with the 12 port injector and ECU.

Seems most of the bugs are worked out.

    The new x-lights turn great!

Cool. Thanks for the info. I just looked at the oil line and can easily see how it could be loosened. What did you safety wire yours to? What year is your bike? Do you have the stock exhaust? Im going to ride mine for a bit and decide if I want to drop the coin on the ECU and injector. Most likely I will be performing the mod eventually. Most say that its worth it. How did you make out at Sandy Lane? My wife yelled at me when I told her I was going. My knee wasnt even close to being ready! Cant blame her I suppose.
