    Less un-sprung weight, supposed to be near impossible to pinch flat, can run lower pressures for slower gnar.

    Also note the Hi Point tires have a nice well rounded compound, I think you will like them. They are more to the soft compound side of the intermediate range tire specification. My experience has been with the standard Hi Points (non integrated tube type), they are same tires as far as mold/belts/design/compound but without the built in "tube" or better description air bladder. They worked well down here in the dry/sharp rock/boulder/sandy Hi and low dez conditions, the grip was very noticeable on the big steep slab boulders due to the softer nature of the compound.     Thanks. Was not sure about the gold rims but really like the old school ISDE bikes with them and with the yellow thought it would look good. I don't like blue rims. I think it turned out fantastic. This bike is stunning in person. Might even get to knock the shiny off it this weekend if I don't go snobiking in ID.
