It rained all weekend so this was the perfect project. Spray the Plasti-Dip for 5 min and then watch Football for 30 min and repeat the process until I applied 6-7 thick coats. Here's the process: Pulled the wheels off the bike, cleaned them with super fine steel wool, thinner and the wiped them down with a wet/damp rag. I made a jig with two jack stands and a pipe. Taped off the spokes and covered the rotor/sprocket then wedged 3x5 index cards between the tire and rim. I did the first coat a little thin and went thicker with the other coats up to 7 coats (about 1 can per wheel). The Plasti-Dip doesn't blow around and you don't get much overspray so I did this in my basement with almost no issues. Some mild fumes but not too bad.

Tips: Clean and prep is important, Do the first coat thin. The more coats the better, Min 30 minutes of dry time between coats. Flip your can over and clean out the sprayer after each coat. Don't be surprised if it looks 'clumpy or thick' when you apply it. It smooth's out as it dries and will look fine when you come back in 30 min. Really pretty easy. We'll see how it holds up.

My local Home Depot had Black, Red, Yellow, and White ($6.95 per can). I was told that ACE Hardware also has Orange, Green & Pink. PlastiDip also has 'Camo' and a 'custom' blend color kit. The following site is 'HUGE' with the import car tuners and it looks like you can also purchase from these guys. https://www.dipyourcar.com/Full-Spectrum-Plasti-Dip-Colors.html

Outdoorsman, I think I'm going to stick with the Red. Thanks anyway.
