Tore both cuffs on a quad accident about 15 years ago no operation took years to heal used the Chinese hot water treatment. I ran hot water over it as hot as I could stand it. It's not perfect today but usable.

I had a big off 3 months ago, and tore the rotator cuff tendons. I couldn't raise my arm at all for a week or so, but gradually strength and movement came back, and was 90% normal after 2 months. I'm about 95% now, but had another even bigger crash 3 weeks ago, and have 2 broken ribs, and a smashed knee :(
My confidence has gone now, so will not be doing any extreme enduro stuff or competitions until I've got my mojo back, so gentle trail riding for the rest of this year.

well it's 4 months since my shoulder surgery. PT is coming along fine. I am thinking maybe in another month I'll go for a short ride to see how it feels. Haven't riden in the woods since May when it happened. Rode the bike around the block a couple times to keep things lubed up. Put some liquid performance in the gas in June hope it's still okay. wonder if I should drain the tank and put fresh gas even though I have liquid performance ethanol equalizer in it now. Nervous about going out too soon don't want to screw up my recovery on the shoulder.

I made the mistake of selling a dirt bike I loved after a serious shoulder injury that left my right arm paralyzed. A year later I had to replace the bike. 3 years later it is still not 100% but I can ride with it pretty well. Physical therapy, time and determination will keep you riding! I'm 62 and planning on riding until I can't get on the damn bike.
