I saw those as well, 3D printed circular vents, kinda like those old school UNI vents.

I remember seeing all the CH Racing Factory 610s from Tiainen and Eriksson with those big old holes and fly screen. So its just a Husky racing tradition to do these mods!!

These guys who are dissing you are generally spot on, however in this case i get your connection to that bike thing and wanting to mod stuff. Hell i sold a new bike to fund rebuilding an old clunker that didn't even have a top end (talking about my Yammie 200). It is rebuilt, it is my unique bike, i made it into exactly what i wanted, I'm faster than all of my mates who are fitter than me and are on bigger/faster bikes. Not the easiest or most efficient use of time if you just want a more powerful bike, but you want more power on the bike you have.

pfft who cares what anyone else thinks, be your own dog. if thats the way you wanna roll with your bike then you go girl!
    seriously wilmar & chums i reckon 390-400cc 4t be the ultimate. 450 too much unless you a pro i reckon(im 6'4", 225lbs & fit-not being a pussy just being honest!) or desert/WFO riding

$ & rationale have very little to do with dirtbikes ive found. :D

Yes. Not much devalues as quickly as riding a dirt bike off a showroom floor, if you want to make a good financial investment don't buy one at all.

I spent> $1200 on PCV dyno tune and a pipe on my GS for about 2hp and 4ftlb, worth every dollar (about $600/1 hp). Could have put that towards an F800 but i wanted more hp on my bike. Same thing i guess.

Dunno...these 3fitty's ring to 12'0000 rpm, being the hoon that l am, managed to get a tad over 150kmph with the stock 13/52 gearing on the limiter...quite impressed actually!!
Get a Vortex ecu and email Richard from Vortex and he can setup the ecu pre programmable maps to suit MX/SX or open stuff, but for technical riding, his setup is bloody good...you can always spend extra in get the cable and software and have your tuner set the bike up on a dyno and fine tune it further..full system, SXF cam's and if it's still not enough power then go down the oversize route - at least you'll have the gear there to tune the bike for the extra cubes.

Chums, always we need to throw ideas and stuff around, keep that skin thick.
If you really are going for displacement just remember to open up up the airbox or do the simple MXA test - remove the left side cover and ride (before the bore mod, you may be more than happy, as is/OEM with just a remap with an open airbox and good a exhaust system)!!
get some control method, get some timed loops, some sections timed. Get that seat of the pants fun stuff as well. Have fun with your 350, 390 or whatever the thing ends up being. R

and really the engine is an air pump.... first thing it needs is air in and air out.... I know some say bang for your buck but these bikes are plugged up stock... period.... I know people say exhaust is expensive and not worth the money.... wrong.... just like the air box mod for getting air in it needs to get out.... and if you do go BB Kit that exhaust will become even more of an issue

Because they are all talking about this BB kit and how much better it'll be but they are not understanding what really makes a difference....

When you buy a bike you should be looking at what its designed for and buy accordingly.... dont buy a bike that basically a 250f style bike and say well it has low torque.... exactly its meant to ride in the top part of the RPMs not the torque....

So I suggest selling it a getting a bike thats meant for torque a 450... well its heavy feeling.... yes and so will your 350 when you add torque its the nature of torque its not just because its a 450....

I guess I shouldnt care but these are the same people that say the sport is too expensive when in actuality they are making it expensive for themselves adding everything they could bolt on to their 10k bike but yet dont have the skill to use any of it.... I have an idea take 90% of that crap off and take a Rich lafferty or Shane Watts riding school and then see how much that helps... guarntee that $300 would help more than any of these $1000 add ons....

Plus then others look on here and such researching what bike they want to get and see that people are having to add on this and that to make it a good bike when really its just people not buying the proper bike for the application.... and then instead of buying a Husky and helping the brand they go back and buy something they know probably a honda or kawi...

you dont buy a VW bug to haul your bike to the track for a reason... its not the proper vehicle.... and if you did then decided to buy it then decided to take a 5th wheel to the track would you throw a Cummins in the bug and put a 5th wheel hitch on top? NO you would sell it and get the proper vehicle.....

    Sorry I'm done

VWs suck they are gross polluters.........they cheat their cars are ruining or precious earth......
spec the 350 to full power (open breathing intake, open breathing exhaust) Fat low RPM map.

Cairoli 12K RPM all day spec then add a flywheel weight.....for 6K RPM all day......

Ron I am fully understanding your logic, and Im with you , so OK we wont spend time effort and $$ building a bike that serves us no purpose, but heck we are all in some ways tinkerers some more than others. How illogical are all my hot rod friends worse than anything here on the amount of cash they spend on their cars to make them cool and faster---and faster than what??? there is always a faster and always a better machine----and even on a stock 125 there is always a faster pilot than most on a big bore machine.
My OEM stock engine and airbox TE300, for me I don't want to open up the intake I like my 300 "soft" and electric, but heck I have a lot of personal mods on my bike for my comfort and to get me through long races with lower fatigue, I have FMF gnarley and FMF powercore S/A but have been using my OEM pipe and silencer with an EE S/A cap---its softer with the stock pipe, Flex bars for comfort, --Note Proper suspension set up will get you the most performance over any other chassis or engine mod.
