I know of that plate. It's in one of my pictures where I commented that I made a cut out in it. It needs to stay on there as it holds the light up. With an original Terra fender you will swap that plate for the fender if I'm right.
Here it is hanging out with the TR650. It is technically MrsDonkeys Ural, and she normally does all the maintenance on it. Since she decided to w@&h the bikes on Friday, I figured I'd be nice and change her front tire for her. Then I figured I'd go for the oil change too. Damn, I love working on that bike. Oh, and she's not afraid to follow the boys on their dual-sports either.
So the dog in the photo above by the river is Bryson, our Giant Schnauzer rescue and regular rider. He was just filmed for the documentary Sit Stay Ride: The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs. More info at www.sidecardogs.com. This is Bryson, in a still shot from the movie. Abby is our foster pup. We're fostering her for Schnauzer Rescue of the Carolinas, the same rescue that brought us Bryson. We decided to give Abby a shot at riding, and she did fantastic. So I'm hoping a home with a hack will adopt her. This is Abby, taken a few days ago. Are we officially off topic yet?
So we know that this Touratech adjustable folding shifter for the BMW F800GS will work on the TR650. http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/...-Gear-Lever-BMW-F800GS-ADV-F700GS-F650GS-Twin However, has anyone tried the adjustable folding brake pedal on the other side. This is particularly attractive because it goes over the peg, not under. http://www.touratech-usa.com/Store/...e-Lever-BMW-F800GS-F700GS-F650GS-Twin-2008-on

I have updated the OEM/Interchange Parts List on ADV. I am also looking for interchangable parts for popular categories such as: Clutch Cables, Brake lines and Brake pads. I spoke to a guy I know who works at BMW and he said they could look at the Husky's system as well mentioning that in the menu on their diagnostics equipment there was an option for choosing the Terra and Nuda versions. They haven't tried that yet as they dont have Husky customers at their BMW dealership. I might ask them in the next few weeks.
Concerning the rear wheel seal, I hadn't seen that one mentioned in this or the ADVrider thread. It's 30x40x7 I changed out my wheel and sprocket carrier bearings over the weekend with Nachi bearings and SKF seals, but since the rear seal wasn't listed anywhere I assume it was the same as the front, which is incorrect. Unbelievable improvement and the stock ones didn't seem to be bad, but I changed tires and balanced the wheels at the same time and tried balancing before and after changing the bearings, it was a huge difference.
Thanks to Danketchpel I have added a new resource for parts to the OEM/Interchangeable Parts Index: Ok I added KTM-Parts.com to the Interchangeable parts list located here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=24330343&postcount=4253 You will find the resource under "Known Parts Suppliers" near the top. Once into their website scroll down a bit and find "Legacy Parts Finder" and enter the information. They even have out parts blow up and part numbers available on site.
