France just railed! But the Italians were very close and the Fins right there as well so that said, the usual suspects were up on the podium, all within a few minutes after 6 days of nutty speeds. The young Fin Remes KTM was killer fast and so was Nambotin G-G, and our own Meo was just scary on the WR300 (see vids on ISDETV) http://www.isde2009-live.info/
I think Ben's okay. Drew was going to get him to post here sometime. I took this from ECEA bb.... http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/showpost.php?p=55780&postcount=1
Ben Smith here, Thanks everybody for your support, I'm doing ok. Still having a few headaches. It’s always a good experience going to the six days. I was still there giving a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Since we had up to 11 riders coming in at the same time at the end of the day, there were a lot of hands needed. I was very happy with the 2010 WR250, the motor was strong, the shock worked well, the KYB forks were a bit soft for the deep sand and high speed conditions. I also was able to get a Pavini power valve cover. All I can say is wow. It really works. You can have the bike work like a stock bike. Or you can make the vavle open slow and the bottom end is unbelievable. It’s all traction too. Unfortunately I had to give it back so Glenn Kearny could use try it. I tried to get it back to bring home, but I couldn't get in touch with them after the event. Again, thanks a lot for the support, and I'll have better luck in Mexico next year. Ben Smith
Good to hear from you Ben! I am glad you are doing ok and hope your headaches are gone soon. I also wish you the best of luck on the next ISDE and your other races.
