iBeat adaptor can be purchased from Semco Designs. http://www.semcodesigns.com/Products.html I have no idea though whether it can be used with an Arrow ECU though. Probably but better check first. Also the CO numbers I listed above will no longer apply I'm sure as Arrow ECU mapped different than stock Husky ECU. I think you're pretty much in uncharted waters with the Arrow ECU (but not the pipes), FMF pipe and JD Tuner. A visit to a Dyno tuner is probably your best shot for max power but still no guarantee it will solve your surging issues. _
Picking an old thread up because it was a big help to me. These settings made a big difference and so far seem to have eliminated the low rpm stumble for me. Red at 1 seems a little odd to me but until I really let the bike run I will stay with it as is. For me, things got better by leaning out most of the settings to these numbers though moving up the YB from 2 to 5 seemed to really be the positive difference. 2011 SMS630 FMF Q4 Powercore Exhaust (single) Stock Airbox with maze and snorkel removed JD Power Surge 6X Stock gearing smog crap removed sea level, hot and humid
That 48T sprocket on the SMS probably made the most noticeable difference of any of it, but it's gotta be buzzy on the highway. The TE runs the larger rear sprocket because the rear tire diameter is larger and 5th and 6th gear are slightly taller.
My bad, typo, stock gearing. Update: I was still having a lot of hesitation on acceleration and uneven surging in the 4500rpm range... I have the bike opened up with FMF system, EHS and airbox derestricted so I was sure it was running lean (I'm at seal level so there must be a lot of air, right?). JD settings were all pretty high except Green which was at 3 but no matter how I moved them up it was still surging away. Finally I decided to just move every setting to 3 (stock) to get a baseline - was sure this would be too lean but it was an amazing positive difference - no surging or hesitation at all! I may be leaving something on the table in terms of high end power so will test increasing Red but for all of those thinking they are running too lean, you might try dropping the settings as I have done.
Let them finish up and ride it home, unless you just don't want to bother taking the tank off yourself later.
630 sms running jd recommend settings except red/blue at 4 G 3/4 Y 4 R 3 GB 3/4 YB 4 RB 4 runs great until i chop the throttle and then get back into it. only does it in lower gears when cornering and getting back on the gas. not a smooth transaction. what i adjust to help?
