Out of curiosity what are the settings on a iBeat when these bikes come from the factory.I have just got mine serviced again with valve clearances done. They have set my TPS and set everything to 100/100/100.My bike is currently running a power up kit and Twin Arrows and ECU.Now going to fit JD and EHS filter.

I live In Mexico and we are really high up, very little oxygen up here, (around 9,300 F.A.S.L) and what worked best for me was going lower on the green.. I ended up with very similar to what JD recommended: G: 2 Y: 4 R: 3 G/B: 4 Y/B: 3/4 R/B: 6 Just this morning at about 5:30 am @ 8° celsius I hit 150 Km/h in fifth gear @ 6,500 RPM.. my exit was just there so I had to stop pulling had get off the high speed road.. I'm sure I could hit 170-180 km/h in sixth @top rpm. MODS: sms 630 2011 Decat pipes, with perforated 2" tube and packing, (did it myself, If you haven't done this and you are wondering about ti.. DO IT! it's awesome change) P/U Kit no Lambda sensor. Denso Iridium Spark plug EHS Pre Filter with fully perforated box under the filter-mesh and the wonderful and amazing JD tuner. I'm also running some Michelin Diablo Rosso II on the back and Diablo Rosso II CORSA in front... (this was actually a mistake, but I like the feel of the bike, so I kept the front Corsa Tyre) I can't imagine how this bike would run at sea level.. It's not a safe and slow supermotard anymore.. its a beast.
No, you're not And yeah once you gut in opened up and gutted and get the fuel sorted, it's a different bike. Mine has seen 110mph, which is ~175km/hr with stock gearing and throttle response is now instant. But I'm at ~1000ft above sea level...
Yes, I do. just got them about three weeks ago... Had the distanzias before.. they sucked. Consider the diablo's for your next tyre change, they have awesome grip... as long as you don't run over some loose dirt or mud. I'll try to hit the 180 tomorrow morning... this cold weather really makes the bike very happy. I got stock gearing too..
I was pointing out that you don't have MICHELIN Diablos... My SMS came with the original Diablos, and they absolutely sucked compared to the Pilot Power 2CTs I've got now, but I haven't tried the Rosso IIs. I'm planning on some Pilot Pures next go-round.
103, 120 and 112. That gives more available range on the JD, which you can use with an open airbox and gutted cans. How are you liking your cans?
LOOOOVE them ! They get a lot of compliments from the tards around here . Its time for you to setup shop !
Sweet. If I had the time maybe, haha... I'm actually contemplating building a serviceable Aprilia SXV-style under-tail exhaust for the 630, just to see if it can be done without looking stupid...
I cant believe they developed that system for an RXV . The dirt and mud would pack that up in no time. On the SXV , it would be tits .
Hi Guys, JD jetting unit turned up last week along with the FMF exhaust. Question , where has everyone mounted the jetting unit. Have Got a safari tank to install also
